Weed Poll

If they made marijuana legal in your country, but then made alcohol illegal would you be happy with that. In other words if the gov't said we are legalizing weed but we have to make alcohol illegal then would you be happy?

no because everybody would be mentally altered depressents, this poll is bias anyway because this is a cannabis website, im sure if we went on alcoholics anonymous they would bet alcohol? im sure they will legalise it with due time.

I understand that. This is aimed at more of a pick your poison. Plus this country is already depressed, and I get more depressed and feel bad about myself when I drink...this could be because I'm an alcoholic...haven't drank for over 18 months. I also understand that this poll isn't realistic I'm just having some fun. Thanks for your input.

I couldn't care less if alcohol were illegal, mostly because I hardly ever drink. Plus alcohol kills on a daily basis.

Man it is alot easier and quicker to make homemade hooch,(and cheaper) then to grow some dank bud. I vote on the weed.

yeah i would be happy if Maryjane was legal and alcohol not
because i was riding bikes about a year ago with a few friends one night, and along came a drunk driver and hit 3 of them, 1 had a broken arm. 1 had a broken leg, and 1 was put on life supports and then died one week later.

I don't think either should be illegal, I'm all for letting people do what they want. I'm do this more as a pick your poison kind of thing. Sorry to hear about your friends. I've lost some people to alcohol too. That is what is so ironic it kills and weed doesn't. When was the last time you heard about weed destroying lives. I mean the only time I've ever heard of weed destroying lives is the legal consequences of getting caught with it, now that destroys lives. I honestly have no problem with alcohol I'm an alcoholic but I could give two sh*ts if people drink, I still hang out at bars and what not. I was just having some fun with the poll.

I think marijuana should be legalized everywhere in the world. God made it! I myself don't drink. It always made me depressed so I never bothered with it but to say it should be illegal doesn't make sense. I don't care that other people drink. It's their choice.

Marijuana should at LEAST be decriminalized.

I have met more passive stoners that I've liked than people who enjoy their drink. (it's hard not to be bias)

Gravel and Paul would also change the marijuana laws. Not to mention the LP - I cannot recall a Libertarian candidate who did not advocate legalizing marijuana.

Simplistically, I'd rather MJ be legal than alcohol. However, I believe all drugs should be legal and how you choose to treat your body is your own business as long as you're not hurting anyone else.
