Weed just wont burn.......

Hi everyone. Ok, I have googled for days on the issue weed wont burn, only I cannot find a definite cause for this.
I have a gallon of good bud that just wont stay lit and has a hard black ash.
I grow in soil and have several indoor grows that have went great until this last harvest.
I cannot believe it is "lack of flushing" because I flushed this harvest and never my previous grows while my previous grows all burnt good.
Neither can I believe its a "curing problem". It was hung for 2 weeks then into mason jars, burped daily and has been curing for a month now.
Still wont burn, looks like im gonna have to trash a gallon of bud.
Could it be strain related ? this grow was an unknown strain
The only thing I can think I done different from the previous grows was shut the ferts. off earlier and gave plain water last month.
while with the good grows I fed up until a few days before harvest.
No definite solution on any of the forums and tons of folks suffering from this. We sure need to find the problem and cure !!

Could it be genetics? Leave it in a large brown paper bag for a month, then try smoking it again.

If @ that point it doesn't burn, then I'd just use it all to make rosin/bho.

There's got to be a song in there someplace.

Get a vape pen. Make hash. Make edibles. Options. Just saying.

Try to decarb a small amount in the oven. Like 220f for 30 min

I had some girlscout cookies like that. Had to vape it all...

Don't throw it away. I doubt it's genetics, something probably got messed up on your end.
Don't throw it away it has thc that can be extracted into hash, bho, rosin, edibles

I've had a couple strains that had to be smoked in a pipe. Sticky as hell. Had to let it dry longer than I would normally.

Put it in a couple large paper bags. One layer of bud on the bottom of each back. Open and flip bud daily. Sample a bud every few days until it burns good.

Don't get rid of it, the Thc is there and there are many ways to smoke it or make some good oil with it. All is not loss.

usually thats due to one of three things- the weeds too damp, not flushed properly, not dried and cured properly, to many trichs/resin ( now thats a good thing). does the weed get you high? if so , don't get rid of it. if you have a frost free refrigerator, put 5-10 grams in a bowel in the frig for 8-12 hours. this should dry it out enough that it will burn. if its too dry, it may be a little harsh. or as whitebb sez- use a pipe or bong

Sounds like this uncured jillybean I'm currently smoking. It's dry but stays black and hard and is harsh. I have nothing else until the rest cures but at least it gets me high as hell for hours.

About a gallon..

Don't trash it! I had some blackberry Kush(not sure if it really was or just the name my guy gave it) that wouldn't burn stay lit or burn in a joint. Not sure your feelings on Tobacco but I wound up rolling a few (super fat) natural leaf no addative cigarillos and it burned good and the berry flavor still came thru. This is an option requiring less work and time if your just wanting to smoke it now. If not I say go for rosin or cannabutter. Good luck *Cheers*
