Weed is very hard to grow

Imp man. Can you post a link to your harvests. I bet they were not as good as my last one. Every person told me that it was the most potent weed they ever smoked. You are just uneducated. Don't pollute the minds of new growers because you are not strong enough to learn more.
Im a noob. I don't have 'harvests'. I read what Uncle Ben has to say. I grow hella bomb weed for cheap. Use fox farm and your Galactic Alien Super Duper Almagooper Nutrients and keep PH ing your RO in your lab coat. jackass.

This is the worst fucking advice I have ever seen someone give. Think before you type...fuck sakes. Foxfarm is the business, used it for years and so have many people I know. This dude cant even work a fucking computer its 2013...Anyone who is going to tell you to NOT listen to other people and just listen to them is an idiot imo. Please show me pictures of your HOUSEPLANT grows. That shit you are feeding you plants is not the way to go, and if read correctly I seen somewhere that you dropped bud off to a dispense? I hope u didnt use that shit for your so called "medical grade" HOUSEPLANT bud, because that is NOT organic douchenut. Know your facts before you speak cumquat

"dry your weed in the sun and forget any weird curing tech people tell you."

You have got to be kidding me right? Like, you are joking correct...this is the most ignorant thing I've seen you say. "weird" curing technique...? You mean what has been used for decades and proven to be the best way? Throw away your weed book, and get a houseplant book....BWAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAAH thats all i can fucking say...im done with you. Please ban this guy...

Oh and you guys are right, its not hard to grow...ITS HARD TO GROW PROPERLY!!!
This dude just dropped 10,000$ on bullshit from a grow shop. I feel your anger, but dont take it out on me cuz Miracle Grow and wal mart soil puts your buds to shame. You let you leaves yellow at harvest time, don't you? its ok, tell me. your fucking leaves are yellow and falling off at harvest, huh?

all the get... fox farm and use there recommended ferts...hahaha.......

Get sunshine or promix... its not soil, its a soiless growing medium made from a peat moss base..... use any fert you want everytime you water but only at 1/2 the strength that the directions say to use

when growing from seeds.... you will usually have to grow a lot of seeds to find a keeper... then clone that keeper

sometimes the plants that you get from seed are not that potent....that's why they send you a pack of 10 so you can pop um all and hopefully find 1 really good phenol

Shit... I when I first started growin I used to use a microwave to dry a test piece of weed.....45 sec in the micro and in the bong it went...still ripped me

Just finished my 5th grow with four plants (WW, Haze, AK, Kush) and they all turned out nothing. I thought the WW would pack some hit cause it looks like it's growing some amber triches (others did not). I tried some last night and there was nothing. (WW is well into flowering and I'll probably toss it.) I have to go back to pure indica to try something easier. So frustrating. They are so sensitive to every little thing. And I have to try some tea to develop a very good root system. Used foxfarm nutrients and organic soil.

When testing (and drying first) what temps are best for drying? I used mine in oven at 170 deg. for 40 minutes. Does temp need to be lower?
How did your other grows turn out and what where your conditions this time? Where did you get your seeds from? Pictures of this would really help. But, yeah dude, shit, like the others said don't dry ANY weed in an oven. If I want something to dry 'quicker' it goes in a warm, dark room, on netting or newspaper with good air circulation and possibly damp-rid. Still takes a day or so (depending on if it is a little bud or much more).

I just have to say, if you really want to grow organically (meaning: in living soil), don't use the liquid Fox Farm nutrients. Their soils are fine, but, Big Bloom is the only liquid nutrient they have that is truly made from all natural ingredients and micro-biologically active. They also have a line of dry nutrients, various Happy Frog and Peace of Mind products which are organic. Honestly though for dry organic plant food you can find Espoma Bio-Tone and other Tone products at any hardware store or garden center. These need to be mixed into soil before you plant into it. I often use Ocean Forest mixed with coco coir or SAM#4 and Bio-Tone (and dolomite lime, of course).

There are some fine liquid organic nutrient lines such as Earth Juice and even General Organics. With organic [living] soil it is better to just try and let the soil feed the plant as much as possible, using the liquid inputs sparingly.

Throw away your Foxfarm soil and whatever snake oil nutrients you bought. Go to walmart and buy the cheapest bag of potting soil they have, then get a 3 $ bottle of miracle grow. Then throw away whatever weed grow book you have and remember hard back to kindergarden when you grew that bean sprout in a cup. the teacher explained you need light, soil, and water to grow the plant. You have been brainwashed and taken advantage of by a bullshit 'weed growing' industry that has 0 accountability. Get a book on 'house plant' care. and you will be on your way. dry your weed in the sun and forget any weird curing tech people tell you.

Do not dry in oven, and don't waste your money on good seeds until you get your shit figured out. I phucked around for a few years in high school with outdoor, and then failed miserably in college with indoor. You must read and read and read and ask questions places like this. The past three years have been extremely rewarding from doing research on the entire process. You took all that time to grow and then didn't dry and cure properly? At this point I do not even know why I even replied to this thread.....

Stealing pictures now? You are just a troll. Spreading misinformation. You suck at growing and your advice sucks even more. Seriously OP do not listen to this idiot. Read what all the harvesting sticky's on this forum say to do. It will not say to dry it in the sun. I know that for sure.

I'm sure that was very helpful to him. Your folks must be so proud of you, always ready to help.
Have you read my posts?

Go on now if you haven''t, I'll wait.

Still want to stop me having my one little moment of humour?

(trolls really are wasting their time on someone with as much Sugar Punch as I have)

really? the guy is drying his plants in an OVEN! he deserves a little heckle.

Perhaps he should read a bit on the subject before posting absurd questions.

jus sayin
Ta dude. I was joking, thank you for noticing. You'd think if anyone would have spotted it a stoner would (even if it was a shit joke). Maybe he's not a stoner and is just a dumb troll.

hmm, and I was telling people the other night that growing ganja was probably one of the easiest ventures I've undertaken.

Seriously, I just read many many threads here...bought good equipment that was dialed in for my space, and good seeds. Follow the nute directions...poof...dank buds of my choosing.

That was my very first thought when seeing this thread title.

When I then read the initial post I was left thinking it was an ironic joke. I do not apologise to anyone for that perception.

You know, he's exactley right, you don't need all that stuff to grow good weed. Basics first, then advance. Don't understand why people think you can't grow weed without having your growroom look like a lab. Just because you use foxfarm, along with a lot of others, doesn't mean it's the shit. It means a plant will grow in it like in any other soil. Yes, your yields will get better when you start advancing in knowledge and learn how to ph properly, correct soil mixes, feed correctly, etc. But it is a total myth that you can't grow good quality weed without all the fancy stuff. In my opinion, you're the one giving bad advice, getting a noob in over his head before he has the basics down. I agree a good grow book can help, but a book on growing houseplants would also work.
Every plant needs the same thing to grow, nothing special about weed. I plant a few plant's in my garden every year, treat them exactly the same as plant's in the garden, and I get nice plant's with killer smoke just like everyone else. It's not hard to grow, and it's not hard to grow properly. Growing properly means you made it to harvest with a nice plant that produced some good smoke. Because it's not a monster does not mean it was not grown properly. I bet you Vegas, are not as muscle bound as say The Rock, or some huge muscle builder. Does that mean you are unhealthy and should be put down, or that you are a strong healthy person, that just doesn't eat, workout and put into your body what it take for them to have that body. Same dif with weed, you can have strong healthy plant's with good basic growing, or monster plant's with advance growing techniques. It's not rocket surgery.:bigjoint:

I don't like seeing people give EXTREMELY bad advice. He doesn't need all the bells and whistles we have...But he doesn't need bad advice. I never suggested a damn thing to him besides to not take bad advice...This guy is feeding him nonsense about drying in the sun, and chemically nitrogen rich bullshit miracle-grow houseplant food. There is a rule of thumb when it comes to CHEAP nutrients and Miracle grow... it is "If it has a tomato on it use it, if it doesn't, it will hurt you or someone else." I can grow a plant the side of a bedroom with miracle grow...big as fuck, fat buds, and beautiful looking..BUT IT WILL TASTE LIKE SHIT AND YOU WILL BE PUTTING HARMFUL CHEMICALS IN YOUR LUNGS" Kinda defeats the purpose of growing your own bud...doesn't it?

That's funny. Go ahead, keep thinking your right. You aren't anybody so I really don't care what you say. Find me someone that has been harmed because they used Miracle Grow. Or do you just wanna sit there and call us names because it makes you feel like a man?

And yes, drying in the sun is not a good idea, since that seems to be your major hang up.

its true I dont know shit. i am a rookie. but growing weed is easy as fuck, and I don't know UB

IF your leaves are yellow it means you starved them of nitrogen and you fucked up . you got bud, but not as much and not as bomb

If this happens in Veg or early stages of flowering then yes...you fucked up. But you insuated at "HARVEST" that my leaves where yellow...THAT IS A GOOD thing so you know, like I said it means the plant is doing its job by using all the nutes it can. Now if you use nutes 1-2 weeks before harvest that is on you. If you can still grow a plant that taste good, go ahead, but the fact remains your potency will not be as high as mine!

Thank you for having a understanding of that. Trust me when I say this, THAT PLANT FOOD is not what you want to use. They sell a PINK crystal nutrient that is better and is actually for growing things like bud/tomatos. You have to understand that ANYTHING that has a tomato on it, is good for your plant..PERIOD..if it doesn't, read the back labels, and it more then likely is going to be HORRIBLE for you to smoke...
