Weed is too dry to smoke?

Jon, if it was dried too fast it needs to go into jars to even out the moisture content throughout the bud...Yes, it needs air to dry, but I was referring to the method described a prior post. When weed dries fast, the outside gets crispy and the inside stays moist, so jaring it up distributes the moisture evenly through the weed, then you take it out of the jars to dry a little more, jar it back up, and burp the jars every now and then till the weed is at the preferred smoking consistancy.....But thanks for taking my quote out of context and making me look dumb. :)
lol hey man didn't think i took your quote out of context.

i can't even quite understand what you're saying exactly (obviously because you're smarter than me probly) *also I've been drinking* but i just know what i do from prior harvests and drying and curing.

my next harvest i hope to have enough weed to actually cure for a month or two in jars heh.

:peace:

I'm saying for weed to dry evenly, you have to either dry it very slowly, over the course of a 7-12 days. If it dries a bit faster, the outside of the buds dry while the inside of the buds retain moisture. So to get that moisture thats trapped in the middle of the nugs and stems to travel back to the outside of the buds(where it felt crispy), we put them in jars where the relative humidity is controlled and the moisture that was trapped inside the stems and middle of the buds can travel to the exterior of the nugs(where it felt crispy), allowing for that moisture to be removed by gentle controlled drying. This helps preserves the smell and flavor, as well as allowing for the buds to continue to metabolize other elements of the plant material, allowing for a smoother, tastier smoke.

maybe it wasnt flushed ...i had weed before that was dry but the joint wouldnt stay lit, and even bowls would go out....my guess was alota nutes and no flushing
RAOFLMAO! That was good! That made my day!

To the OP, obviously you didn't buy the weed to sit on it for days drying/curing it. Just cut the shit up with some scissors and let it sit out for an hour or so. It'll be smokable by then.
An then remember, even at street level, to inspect before buying.
