Weed causes Cancer?

I am watching the news and they just said that doctors are saying weed is more dangerous than orignally thought. They said that smoking a single joint equals 20 tobbaco cigarettes. It is a cause of lung cancer. Ummm... should I stop smoking weed????

first of all it was 7 ciggs,now its 20!there bullshitting as usuall!if your scared then get a vapourizor pipe,or sprinkle some on ya hot choclate and stir it in!or bake with it!theres many different ways you can use it but you cant beat a good smoke!

I read that the cannabinoid CBN(I believe) has the ability to slow down the production of certain cancer cells.

Ridiculous propaghanda! Studies go back and forth with these numbers. The anti-cannabis establishment loves to make outrageous claims, but they are never backed up by solid facts or studies. Other studies says that they contain only 50% or less a greater concentration of carcinogens, but many studies suggest that THC will prevent cancerous tumors.

The bottom line on cannabis as a harmful substance is this:

The people who have the money to do comprehensive tests on it (i.e. Pharm corps., the government) never will , because they are afraid of what they might find, and how it may interfere with their business.

I have researched on the internet and can't find a single case of someone getting cancer from smoking cannabis. try going to youtube and search rick simpson, this guy actually found a cancer cure in hemp oil. thats ingesting it mind you, not smoking. also i've heard smoking cannabis helps with asthma because the thc drys up mucus in your lungs where bacteria grows. they must be talking about the tar content which is only four times higher, plus more carcinogens but far as i know the benefits outweigh the cons

thats what i was thinking like the blunt wraps(ie. Swishers and basically the papers that you wrap that dank in) but ya i dont see how that is really the main cause, also i have asthma and all and so does my friend, i used to miss a lot of school but when i started to toke i was in class more than last year so ya to the post ^^^^ i think that ya it helps asthma by drying up that mucas and shit

omg I watched the Rick Simpson thing on youtube and honestly if we get a smart enough president to watch it im almost 100% sure they would try to legalize it

the video also mentioned that it can be used for diabetes? my dad has it but how would i have him take the oil without freaking out about something being wrong with him?

also im thinking that if weed was the cure for anything like the video says then thats probably why its illegal? i mean think about it if everyone is cured by something thats so easy to get then they would lose money. am i right or too high? but think about it look at all the money they're making off of medicine and treatments that dont even cure you. so once everyone is cured the gov'nt would go broke....

but you know what lets say they used weed to cure everyones problems or w/e then they are gonna have to find another way to make money, and how do they do that? they raise our prices for everything else, and higher taxes

marijuana does cure but it slows down lung cancer
when you fill your lungs with marijuana smoke it kills cancer causing cells
they reprodouce obviously but the more you kill them the longer wit will put off the cancer and weaken it
