I see no help because not a single person mentioned what the issue was causing the browning‍. What crucial question have I not answered?
Yer light is too close, you have small pot for flowering such a big plant treated as “soil” and your issue is not calcium related. What kind of water you use and its initial values?

Alright now we are getting somewhere. As stated previously I will be transplanting. Just waiting for my order to show up. Shipping has been slow and I do not have access to what I need locally. I’m using tap water with unknown ppm. This is my 4th grow and utilizing RO water on my last grows led to many deficiencies that I couldn’t keep up with.
Now why is 12” too close? Everything I have read online states anywhere from 12-24”. As far as I can tell the lights being low have increased the plants growth. I’ll raise it, but I wanted to know the reasoning. Also the pictures are deceiving. The plant is roughly 2 ft wide by like 14-16” tall. The tent is a 3’x3’. It’s currently the size of my largest auto flower I have grown so not a huge plant by any means.

Thats exactly what I thought, you do not have equipment for measuring. Its not such a big deal since you are in “soil”. You most likely wont need calmag but you should figure out EC of your tap thats for sure. BTW too much light can mimic literaly all kind of deficiencies, which do not respond to increase in EC other than serious burn. If your leaves are healthy further down the plant and top seems to be “deficient” your environment is not able to support the amount of the light you provide to the plants. In case you provide ballanced food with proper medium treatment ofc

Now that light thing isn’t a piece of information that I have heard or read. All I knew is that a light too close can burn or bleach the leaves. And the issue was actually with the leaves about half way up the plant so that’s another reason I believed light was a non issue.
Also from my knowledge, mobile nutrients will show on the bottom while non mobile nutrients will show deficiency at the top and calcium is a non mobile nutrient which is where my idea of a calcium deficiency came from.

my city lists the water ppm at 100, so I’d imagine it is pretty close to that and I do not use well water

You are correct about mobility and this stuff around but you are stuggling to recognize where to look for them. There is no difference between those two branches is sense of expressing nutrient “deficiencies”…

I’m all ears as to what you believe it is deficient for. I do not have a keen eye for it yet.
I have NOT said they are deficient! Reread my posts please and try to understand whats the sense. Maybe my English sux but its not so difficult to get the point if you want to…

Alright so if I’m not mistaken your belief is it’s a light problem. The light has been moved up to 22”. What I’m confused about is your comparison between branches.

Simply said: if they are deficient, both branches would express the same symptoms…
