Weaving Branches, Pulling Leaves, and Waiting

I’ve just been weaving branches, pulling leaves, and waiting. Now with 3/4 of the squares filled I’m going hopefully get some stretch to finish filling it quickly and start moving up. The light viparspectra xs2000 is at 30” and 100% to hopefully have the tops stretch for the light but still be intense enough to run plant metabolism. So far everything is going well.

Moving the lights up a bit will encourage some more upward growth. 30" would work - but if you want light intensity to still allow the plants to aggressively VEG, you can set the light to 24" above the canopy. It's only 240 true watts.

Just wanting to verify - are you still going to spread any future growth outward to fill in some of those open spaces before you flip? Or are you going to let those tops grow upwards a little more then flip?

about ready to flip. consider adding 2nd net layer above, so there is more support after stretch. they'll need it. lollipop after 1 week after flip then let them go. could also clean up some lower larf after 3rd week of flower. best of luck! :blsmoke:

Looks good, try to fill out those nets before flip to maximize return. I stopped just moving plants from veg to 12/12 nets and started to actually grow them into the nets and my yields went up 30-40% not just letting them stretch and training as I go. It takes more time but the yield is worth it when you really let them veg strong and fill all boxes in the net(s). :)

I really recommend you setup a 2nd layer of netting, once you flip them to flower you don't want the branches flopping over on each other.
