Cali orange or a good blueberry would probably fit that bill well there not super weak nor overly potent but easy going and not something that most people would find strong or hard to deal with if there a bit sensitive also esb from oldtimer1 as well

I’ve never done testing so going by aroma and flavor I have a C99 cross from FDM that is the loudest smelling flower I’ve grown in 20 years and a joint is tasty funk the whole way through. I also have run a Slymer S1 @BobBitchen for a couple of years that’s strong lemon/lime sour.

Purple urkle, gdp, purple punch crosses. I'm loving this cured trop cherry Ive been smoking very relaxing high and tasty terps
despite being 15-16% THC I would not classify PU for a “weaker” strain. It will put most casual to moderate smokers to bed. Hell if I don’t smoke it for a while and have no strain tolerance it’ll put me to bed and I would classify my tolerance level as high.

In my experience, the most flavorful strains were the old landrace strains. They certainly didn't have the highest THC, but they were much more fun. But then, growers stopped trying to grow for flavor and went for high THC. Until the breeding programs, in general, get back to breeding for flavor, we will be stuck with the good-looking/high THC/relatively-flavorless buds.

Yeah, Bob Bitchen's Slymer Chernobyls are really, REALLY lime-flavored, BUT they are not weak!

Humboldt Seed Company puts out a lot of high terpene varieties that taste great and have bag appeal. I haven’t found anything bred by them that was overwhelming in the high or what I would call potent.

While I wouldnt classify the strains Im going to mention as weak, they do have great smell, taste. And what I mainly will recommend is older genetics, from the 80s-90s, that have been well cared for/preserved genetically.

Especially for the money.

NWSun, on Strainly, has F2, of Crickets and Cicada Pacific Northwest Hashplant x Puck/NL1 BC1.
This is basically a preservation, of Nevils 80s Seed Bank Hashplant strain. But has an emphasis, on the Puck. The Puck, is a pheno, that was found in 1988, from a pack of Nevils Hashplant, that a guy nicknamed Skelly found. He bought the seeds in Holland, and sewed them into a sweater, and brought them to the USA. Puck, is also known as SKELLY. Same clone. Skelly/Puck, also has a sister, named Cuddlefish.

Nevil originally took the Pacific Northwest Hashplant clone, and crossed it to Northern Lights #1.

But Crickets and Cicada has basically brought back Nevils Hashplant. Both the PNWHP clone, and the Puck Clone, are 2 of the most sought after of all the Hashplant cuts. All this is top shelf stuff, and gives up nothing in the terpene/flavor department, to anything. Only thing is, it isnt a fast growing plant, and is a medium low producer. But, the end product is top shelf. Nevil said it was personal stash weed, or select clients.

C&C only released this one time. 3 years ago, and the only place to get it, is NWSun. That I know of anyway.

But at $45 a pack of 10, its hard to beat. I bought 2 packs, and he gave me a free pack. $100 for 30 seeds. Killer seeds. $100 included $10 Tracking/Shipping.
And while this stuff if potent, its not the type of weed that has you up looking out the windows, because you know the Martians, are spying on you. It is a heavy, fun, laid back buzz. But, it is potent.
Another good one is Crickets and Cicada Puck BC3. It is similar to the PNWHP x Puck/NL1 BC1, in that has almost exact genetics, it has been further concentrated/backcrossed to the Puck clone, and is trying to have more Puck phenos, vs the PNWHP x Puck/NL1, will have more diversity.

Another good one, with a great smell, and taste is Crickets and Cicada Skunk x Puck BC2. Male Puck BC2 x female 80s Skunk. Its NOT RKS, but the skunk that was used, was supposed to reek. Just not Skunk as what people think of. More catpiss.

The C&C stuff isnt cheap though. $125 a pack. Plus Shipping. JamesBeanCompany has the seeds.

For Bubblegum, Id get it from Fleur de Mal. They have the best representation. Its high terps, but, the right pheno, can be more potent, than what some may think. Its cheap too. Most anything Fleur de Mal has, is good.

Another good one, that is a big producer. Fast growing, great smell and taste is.

Relic Seeds-Super Silver Haze. Its a cross of the 1998 cup winning clone, and a 1st release of Mr Nice Super Silver Haze, right after Shanti left Greenhouse. This strain has fruit stripe gum phenos.
Can also be had at JamesBeanCompany.

Its not cheap either.
