The purpose of this thread was to commemorate the lives lost during the attacks on 9/11 at the WTC, Pentagon, Shanksville and all those who've made the ultimate sacrifice defending this nation on the 10th anniversary of the attacks. This is NOT a conspiracy debate thread and I would greatly appreciate a little respect for the victims. If you would like to post up something tasteful in memory of the fallen, please feel free. If you don't have anything nice to post, please don't post anything. There are plenty of 9/11 debate threads and conspiracy threads in this forum. If anyone would like to discuss theories or have a flame fest, please take it to one of the numerous other threads designed for that purpose, or create your own thread. Thank you for your understanding.

That may be, but this thread is not the place for that sort of "honor". We will never know the entire truth anyways, and even if the entire truth were presented tomorrow there would still be those who wouldn't believe it. Truth is relative and means different things to different people. It's not black and white like some would have us believe. My truth may not be the same as your truth.
Again, please, if you want to discuss "truth" or "theories", please make use of the hundreds of other threads designed for that purpose. This is not one of those threads. Thanks for understanding.

Doc11 has came in here to force his views on to other people. He thinks its ok to use his moderator controls to create an atmosphere where everybody can only think like him and have only his views. Can anybody say "nazi"? Doc11 has shown numerous times that he tries to force people to think a certain way.To the point where he will question patriotism, and accuse people of lacking respect. A common tactic used by liberal who want to control what epople say and even how to think. The truth is liberals are only liberal when it comes to spending OTHER people's money.When it comes to how to act, behave, and talk. Liberals want complete control. People must fall in line and conform to the views of people like Doc11, Cowards who try to use the deaths of thousands of Americans to push thier radical agenda. Better not say anything Doc11 doesn't like, he will find a sorry excuse why you should not post it.

People coming into this thread and causing/stirring up trouble instead of honoring those that died (the TOPIC of this thread) is no different than the people that protest outside of a soldiers funeral. Except that our courts have ruled that there is little that can be done about it (1st Ammendment), there are ways to circumvent it. Such as the Harley guys that form a wall of bodies and bikes and rev their engines to drown out the pathetic hatred that the protesters are spewing.

..... What they really mean is, have some respect for those who attack us. The moderators will never see that the best way to honor the dead is by identifying the evil, and then to destroy it so that they can never do it again. Also, another reason why Ron Paul probably won't get the nominee.

I think you must have me confused with someone else. My name is doc111, not Doc11. That could be the reason for the confusion.
As for me abusing my mod powers???? Really? I have no power to do anything in the politics forum. I engage in spirited debates about 9/11 in here quite frequently. I don't wish to FORCE my views on anyone. I am perfectly fine with people having their own opinions. I may try to influence those opinions with some of my knowledge and expertise on this topic, but I don't believe I am FORCING anyone to do anything. I politely asked, twice, for people to have a little respect. I created this thread on 9/11 to commemorate the fallen, not to have a debate about anything. There are shitloads of 9/11 conspiracy and debate threads here. Members also have the ability to create a new thread at any time they see fit (As long as that thread isn't offensive or inappropriate). Why do certain members see the need to come into a thread that's sole intent was to commemorate, not debate, and stir up trouble? I would like to thank those who respected my wishes that this thread not be turned into a conspiracy flame fest. Perhaps I am the one who is out of line here and if that is the case I'm sure the Politics Forum mods will step in and take the appropriate action. As for my political beliefs???? You couldn't be more wrong about me. I'm no liberal, I am an Independent/Libertarian. I am also a Dr. Paul supporter and plan on voting for him in the coming election.

First off, I am NOT a Conspiracy Theorist but it was kind of odd watching the "Reliving 9-11" shows over the weekend.
One thing that seemed to stand out was the selling that was going on at the time from everyone in the Bush Administration. It seemed that if an administration official wasn't selling us on the war, they were defending their actions. Seeing and hearing these people 10 years later, I didn't get the feeling of being genuine. There was a constant message and that message was War in the Middle East or bust. Anyone else feel that watching them speak 10 years later?
And I'll tell you, the next time this country is attacked, I am buying stock in Flag Companies.
