The winter was about the mildest in my lifetime but the summer not too hot really. They did say it was warmer because of El Nenio plus global warming though so global warming might not be as bad. Or the ski resorts are going to cry the blues again this winter. Lol

It kind of is we have people donate money they ship over American and other countries rice and shit feed the hungry. But what we are doing is making the people dependent on free rice the farmers can't provide for the people because nobody is going to work for or pay the local farmers when they get all their rice and shit for free.

Give a man some fish he will depend on you teach a man how to fish he will never go hungry again. Sure world hunger exists but it can be fixed just by not giving aid and teaching them how to farm.

Reading this without laughing would be like eating a soup sandwich without the bread getting soggy. So, to bring some reality into your class cuckery, I'll simply state the fact that famine almost always tends to occur in areas that are net producers of food.

It's not true. I have been to that island and Haitians are the hardest working people in both countries. Haitian farmers do not grow grain because they can not compete with American subsidized grain. A Haitian farmer can not profit from a harvest of grain even in the most fertile land in the country. He can grow it, but he then is stuck with it because of the artificially low cost of superior grain from America. Nobody will ever buy his grain (or any other crops) and this strangles the agricultural industries of the country.

There are so many stupid assumptions in this that it is actually causing me more effort to dispel it than it does for you to pull it out of your ass. Agriculture costs money, requires water, labor, shipping etc. The way you have framed this, you're blaming the victims of a robbery for being robbed. I get that you're stupid, but try to keep up.

In markets, suppliers compete. This is a fact of markets. Do you know what facts are?

American agriculture holds market share because American farmers are subsidized, given clean water and utilize massive machinery. The fact is, America pushes the crops it exports into Haiti in order to prevent Haitian farmers from gaining market share. It is therefore not profitable or even feasible for Haitian farmers to grow their own food. They would have nobody to sell it to. They simply CAN NOT COMPETE. Guess what happens if they refuse American imports or raise tariffs? America gets mad and threatens them. America does not want them to grow their own shit and take up market share, lest they sell food to Cuba or Republica Dominicana. This would hurt American exports.

I just know what some Haitian people said in the documentary. But why are we giving free food and all to people that can do it all themselves?

Why is world hunger such an issue when they are capable of farming? Competition has nothing to do with feeding your country.

I knew facts were going to be too much for you. OK, let's try a really simple breakdown, I'll frame it in a way that even someone who failed the GED can understand it so you're not left completely clueless forever.

Let's say there are 10 hungry people but 9 of them have a dollar each. Now let's say I have ten chicken pot pies and the one guy who doesn't have a dollar has the means to make four chicken pot pies. He wants to feed himself and even sell the rest of his pies, but if he did that, I would only sell 6 of my pies for 6 dollars and have four left over to rot instead of selling 9 and giving one away and having 9 dollars, and then not having any of them rot.

The first thing I would do is to correct the idiot who failed the GED saying that the guy with no dollars should make his own pie, since I'm an ass hole named America and just want to profit on the misfortune of others.

I noticed that after I posted.

I also do try to farm as much as possible I also trade some farmed goods for cash and I buy food from the grocery store. I'm pretty self sufficient.
