So Im kinda irritated with ebb and flow and thinking about a modular syste what m(rdwc). What is going to bring the most yield the fastest? I have 3 one thousand watt digital ballasts (galaxy) with magnum xxxl hoods I want to use in a 4x10 tent with co2 a sentinel controller 1 HP water chiller with three ice boxes. I run the 3 hoods each with their own fan cooling them. I hear undercurrent recirculating deep water grows massive plants not sure how much time it takes. So if you wanted the biggest yield with quality smoke what are the best options9 thanks guys

I just seen this thread. Haven't been looking around lately since I've been back. I just made a thread over in dwc concerning under current's system. I will be doing 4 plants in a 4x8 scrog with probably 1 1k digital light no hood just a spreader and a 300w led. Later I hope to spread 4 600w's in there with a rotator. At least this way I'll have some comparison data.

Back about a year ago though I was growing some junk skunk strain that was way past its time in a 4x4 tent and with a self built aero/rwdc set up and 1 1k with a predator hood. I used to pull a lb every month.

I had a long look at these. The results on the UC systems are pretty impressive. The gram per watt results are high. They put the water pump "before" the res, rather than after or inside. This is the only innovation that I can see over over other RDWC set-ups. The blue finish is a nice marketing ploy. Looks smart.

You need a control bucket (invariably given some ridiculous name in these systems) and a res in addition to the plant buckets. The pipes are very large, and the pumps are powerful. Fine if noise, space and expense aren't big factors. It's all large-scale stuff - it seems to best suit large ops that want to keep down plant numbers; semi-commercal that is within legal limits in the USA. If you have the space, and isolation, then whoop, whoop loadsa green will be yours.

What exactly are you looking for out of Hydro? I read your thread about your honest opinion in the General dicussion area. You dont like Hydro...

Why are you irratated with Ebb & flow? I would kill to have one of those sytems. I have two 20 gallon totes with six holes in each top and I usually get over a pound harvest with 1 single 600 watt light in a 2x4x7 closet, 20lbs c02 tank inside with them(bubbleponics). Plant growing style and strain are important precursors. Learning to Lst, Sog, or Fim can help tremendously depending on your set up. You want larger plants in hydro then larger containers will work, but there is no short candy cut way to make it happen its still trial and error. Learn from your mistakes and take the good and re-apply it better next time.

man if your irritated with flood and drain i look forward to seeing your thread on mj plant problems with the uc lol. i been running flood and drain for a while and can say it is one of the easiest hydro systems in the world to run. here is my 4x8 room with flood and drain setup with x2 1000w's, i could easily run only 2 plants in this room if i wanted just dont want to push the pot size to its limits so im running 8. next round im putting 8 in a 5x11 with 3 1000w's. why the irritation with flood and drain? all i know is if you cant run a flood and drain properly you are going to be racking your brain with uc im sure. the only reason i havent rally started on a uc system is i dont believe i can run a perpetual grow with uc as i dont believe the plants can be moved once well vegged in the system, i may be wrong but idk. i have seen slanty's plants on other threads and can say he knows what he is doing so i would talk more to him if seriouse.
