watering!~!!

so i've changed my setup from one flood light to two cfl's both 75w and two different levels of the spectrum.... now how often should i be watering her? she's only a few weeks old and has like 2 sets of fan leaves....
somebody help me out please

I wouldn't spray suger on your plants as it will attract bugs. I have heard about adding suger to the water you feed them but not spraying. For watering you should go and get a moisture meter. You can get them at any garden store for 4 or 5 bucks. That will help you from overwatering your babys.

The merits of adding something sweet to the water comes at a different stage and then what I heard it was molasses. Right now just use plain water. When you start to add fertilizer begin be adding at 1/4 strength. But that won't be for about a month yet.

When posting the watts of your CFLs you want to post the ACTUAL wattage.
the bigger watt on the box is the equivalent to how much light an incandescent bulb puts out at given wattage, the cfl actually uses much less, yours sound like 16 watts. 16 wats may do but arent that powerful

indeed. it should say watts consumed or watts used. and i would get some 42w cfls. they are common and not very expensive. i found a little hardware store by house that has 54w cfls but those are the biggest ive seen in regular shops.

yeah, i see what you mean.......
they're doin good i think...........they're growing fine....the first set of fan leaves are starting to get a little brownish on the steams......is this normal?
maybe my strain.....and the leaves are kinda curling up towards the light....eversince i brought them in with the cfl's from outside.

whats up with that?!
