Am I watering correctly for transplanted young weed plant or should whole pot be watered ?

There in 5gallon buckets and yes I cut holes for runoff

You should bury those stems deeper. Then you won't need to prop them. A little light fan action on them will help thicken and strengthen them too.

You're keeping their roots in a dry prison. Water it equally. If anything it's better to do the opposite and make them hunt for moisture.

I imagine he's talking about transplanting them. Yes, water all of the soil. Roots start to run wild almost immediately after transplanting them. Autos are on a tighter schedule, so don't delay their progress.
