I don’t want my plants to die so I need to know if like 3-4 hours after watering soil is damp then goes to bone dry is that good or should I water more ?

I personally don't water my plants. Some do, some don't. Call it bro science, but I'm harvesting while they're still in veg. That was previously unheard of.

They’re not going bone dry. Not if they were watered properly.

Plants that old should not be in solo cups and should be in a pot.
Also consider adding straw to the top layer of the soil so your soil does not dry out as fast.
