Watering questions?

So I have heard that cannabis prefers to be on a schedule? What if the water never dried out at the same rate? I jus don't wanna over water cuz I heard it lessens your overall yield any help greatly appreciated

So, we assume, you have multiple plants, each will get its own care, specifically to that plant...water, nutes, etc...Water through, plant "A" might only need 12 oz, and plant "B" might need 20 oz water... Good Luck...

When the pots are light, you water, generally it takes a few waterings to work out when the pot is light enough, but i usually just go buy the pots weight, i like to keep it dry for around 1 day as the roots need abit of oxygen and they like the dry soil to grow better and search for water, then i water the plants, infact i almost drown them, watering till theres alot of run off, then i leave them to completely dry out again.

Theres also an issue of when you have just newly potted a plant into a big container, i warn you do not water untill there is run off once newly potted up, just give it abit of water round the stem, i cant realy explain it but you just know, you can sense how much water to give them, its weird its a man to plant thing, im shit at explaining things, so hopefully u get the jist of it or someone else on here can help ya

We'll I know how to test if I need to water but from what I have read and heard they like a routine like every other day water and stick to that or every 4 days water but keeping it consistent that's what I have ready that cannabis like is that true? I normally give them a day to dry out too but the last few weeks I was trying to get them in a routine but idk how well that's going lol

The plant will make the schedule depending upon how much soil, etc. When the plants are small you might water every 3 to 5 days and when they are in full bloom you might water them every 2 days or whatever. Go by the weight as described in previous post - that is your watering schedule - only when it needs water.

Then just water a little bit at a time.
I have a friend that waters every day. Just a cup or two. Every time you water it brings oxygen into the root system.

I have found this will cause dry pockets of soil. I like to give my plants a complete drenching with 20% runoff and then nothing till the next watering.

I run 7 plants in 3 gal pots in flower, 3 different strains. I have them all on the same water/feed schedule. water/feed, skip 2 days, then do it again. then again and again and again.
