Hi i was wondering if im underwatering or something because one of my plants has developed really high roots that are exposed on the plants own about 2cm. There are 3 plants in one 3gal container and im wondering is 1 Liter (38oz) of water is enough or too much? also there is a solid thin root system within the top 2cm locking that dirt in place.. :?:

3 plants in one pot is a bad thing! they will fight for root space and water, the weaker plants will suffer, if they are small enough I would advise moving them to thier own pots

that being said water till you have PLENTY of run off, it is not something you measure

i'm sorry to say.. but those plants probobly will not survive if you have three in one 3 gal container. The reason you see the roots popping up is b/c they are most likely root bound. The problem you now face is fixing it. I would repot into a 5 gal and they MIGHT have a shot at survival, but you will have problems.

yea ive put clones in one pot before and when i transferred em to their own pots their roots had grown together so i had to rip em apart..they all survived tho just looked like shit for a week or so..id separate those girls tho they will start fighting for light, food, space...
