Watering frequency

I've just diagnosed my problems as a watering issue. So let me ask you guys how often you water.

I have been watering every 2 days. I'm in my 3rd week of vegetation. My lower leafs have been turning yellow when they were originally a dark green. The yellow is now slowly working its way up the plant. The leaves are all pretty droopy as well. I haven't started feeding these plants with nutes at all.

The containers have good drainage. They dry out nicely. Then I re-water. However after diagnosing my plants it must be a watering issue.

So how often do you water your plants? And how long after the soil dries out and lightens up do you re-water?

I think you should be giving them nute's by now unless your growing in soil! At least B-1 with some trace elements.... at least! I have my girls on 500 ppm by 3 weeks into veg.

I am wondering if you are truly in "veg"?
Is this a grow from seed or clone?
How far are you from your first set of real leaves or from when you cut the clone from the mom?

I haven't measured how much water I give but they are in the red beer cups right now. I give them a good soak 2x in a row till some water makes it way out the bottom. They are nice and light when I pick them up. They get light and dry about 40-44 hours after watering.

My dynagro will be in in just a few days so I will start feeding them. It's a grow from seed. I had them under cfl's for 2 weeks then put them under the 600 MH. They were fine under the MH for the first few days but then they have started going yellow. Not sure how far away I am from the 'real' leaves but I think it has 4 nodes now. I really need some pics but can't get any right now.

whats the temps like do you have fan on them???????:shock:

Ya i have a fan blowing directly into the space between the plant tops and lamp shade. The temps are 75 not in direct light., I'm taking temps right outside of direct light. Humidity was low at first around 46 but I was able to increase it into the 50s with a humidifier.

The only other issue could be hard water. The water is 200 ppm. Could it cause nute lock up at this stage considering I'm not even using nutes yet?

I was also misting them a lot when i was trying to increase my humidity. Maybe this is affecting them. There was also some black spots on the leaves

ok i dont think its nut lock because ur ph is fine i would say has more to do wit the mist than anything eles to much and they start rob from the roots and easy on the water take it from me you need to wait as long as you can before u water to much is worst than not enough!!!!!! BUT THATS JUST MY OPINION I COULD BE WRONG :}
