Watering brainstorm

Guys, I am towards the end of my first try. I had a sativa dominant seed and experienced a lot of things. Vegged for 8 weeks and flowering is now week 10. As far as I observe, I had a feww weeks to harvest.

I use 15l pot LightMix soil by BioBizz and BioBizz nutes. 400w mh for veg, 400w hps for flowering. ph 6.3. moisture and heat are optimal.

If I use 3l water, it takes 4 days to dry and there is no run off water. I often use 5l water with nutes but it takes 7 days to dry, which means less watering but with runoff. Should I use less water with more frequency or more water with runoff?

As far as more/less water, I've always went by weight. The plants will tell you when they want water. Not just with visual clues, but by pot weight. This may or may not answer your question. But that's all I can think of right now.

Edit: I'm really high right now and I just woke up. Forgive me if my response didn't give you the answer you want!

Sounds like you need more aeration. There's a balance to watering. Don't let it get bone dry between waterings. I like to keep the soil moist at all times. I water when the top soil begins to look dry, and only add what's needed. If your plant begins to look overwatered, cut back some.

Runoff is best because you know your fully saturated, the less you have to water with soil the better especially for fungus gnats, you want the top inch to be always drying out, and completely bone dry before watering again. I point my fans right at the soil. Fungus gnats lay eggs in the top inch, when it dries completely out each time it gives them nothing to thrive on and prevents this from happening.

Hi guys
Just moved my babies to 3 gallon smart pots.. i didnt give them any feeding yet just ph balanced water as they were into some shit before transplant(no air circulation, low humidity)
How much water is optimal for these beauties? I give them 1 liter each and it takes like 3 days to dry off.. perhaps i should increase to 1.5L approx? Thoughts?

Just did a microtopping
