Watering amount? Leaves drooping.

So, quick outline of my grow.

NorCal
90-100 degrees daily
6 plants 4 different strains
all in 10 gallon black pots with tons of holes
80% ffof + 20% perlite
put clones outside 36 days ago
2 days ago, all plants showing white hairs
misted really good everyday with 6.5 ph'd water once or twice just depending on the temperature

I've been watering them every other day religiously with 1 gallon of water each. I started veg nutes 2 weeks ago and have did them at 1/2 dose every other watering.

Today, I went outside and my 2 biggest ones (6ft+) are extremely drooped over. Am I just not watering enough and they have finally caught up? They have never looked like this. Maybe they are needing more water now and that was the way of showing me?

It CAN'T be overwatering right? I've stuck my finger down and always on my water day, they are dry.

Hej babe, i gallon a day is fine for smaller plants but a 6ft its not enough... do it twice a day. try watering lightly into the pot for 5 seconds and then wait for 5 minutes, then water properly. This allows the water to get right down into the pot (as there might well be dry pockets ov compost insiide the root-ball.

Watered the 2 problem plants with a gallon and I swear within minutes they were perky as can be. Ive been doing every other day a gallon but I think I'll try 2 and still skip a day. I'll just watch closely. Thanks!

You need to totally saturate ALL the medium and 1 gallon isn't going to do it, not in a 10 gal container.

I've never measured the amount of water I use to water, that's kinda silly. Water till you get good run off, real good run off. Here, it's been in the upper 90s and for my 5 gallon buckets I would guesstimate 2 gallons+ to fully saturate the medium every 2 days or so, depending on the cloud cover.

Also with added perlite to ffof I noticed that the soil doesn't retain water for long. water slowly and till you see it coming out the bottoms of your pots.

Today I did 1 gallon each water on all six plants and then a waited 10 minutes. Then I mixed my nutes in and did another 1 gallon each so they all got 2x the amount of water I've ever given them. I'll be watching closely and misting a few times today as well.
