the stuff from the store works fine, the 3 dollar stuff at the grocery strore in a milk carton kind of container is the same as the shit in the fancy resealable foil pack at the hydro shop they sell for 12 bucks
Thanks again, I got the Epson salt and give them a good misting, tomorrow is res change and I will put it in with the nute's, does my ppm seem good? It's maybe a little under 1/2 of the recommended.

here's where you need to find someone in the hydro section, i know all the general stuff about plants, but i'm a soiless guy, coco or peat.
when it gets down to maintaining a dwc setup, i'm less than an expert. all i can tell you is if the plants seem happy with it, then it's good.

Yeah, they seem pretty good, other than the yellowing, I have the Epson salt in with the new res change so I'm hoping for the best. I think that I'm a little low on nutes, but I want to see what my ppm does over the next week. That should tell me what I need to know. I have a clone in spring water and we'll see what happens. Thanks again.

Hey thanks alot, and yeah, this is definitely a lot different than what I have done in the past. But I need a good hobby, and have nothing but time, so I'm going to keep trying till I get it right.
Fucking a right bud. I won't ever give up trying either. I know I'll master my hydro system some day. For now I shall try soil though. Just to see if it rewards me better.

hydro is great, if you have the touch for it. i haven't had good luck with it, and can't afford to experiment at the moment. when i get the room and a little extra cash, it's on the agenda to try again, figure out what i've done wrong in the past, and perfect the method, just so i know what's what. hate failing at anything

I have only grown outdoor till this year, last year I got ripped off though, 11 plants. They were huge and I figured I would try indoors, I have 2 big rottweiler ' who tell my chihuahuas if anything comes around, the chihuahuas get em.

My lucks been bad with it too. I am giving soil a shot instead for a while. I don't plan to give up on hydro completely either. But I do want to get a cob light and do a cob grow on just a plant or 2 in hydro. Then have 10 or 11 in soil since I'm legal to have 12 plants. That way it's not such a loss if I fuck up again

Wow, I can't imagine what it is like to be able to grow legal. As for me in dwc, I spend more time writing down the things I do every day, than I actually spend with my plants.
Yes in Michigan you can get a license to grow your own medicine. 12 plants. I can drive around in Michigan, USA. anywhere with 2.5 ounces legally as long as I follow the law. Which I do. Where you from?

Yeah, I live in Alabama and they will fight it till the end here. Hopefully legal here before I die. Only thing I do that's illegal.

Well move to Michigan. Go to a doctor for pain or there's a big list online of what you can all get it for. Most ppl can get it. Bring your records from doctor to the weed doctor . Pay him a couple hundred bucks and send paper work to the state and get your legal card and can possess 12 plants legally. Card expires in 2 years and you can renew for cheaper.
