water quality

hallo
first post on riu i have been reading you guys a lot last couple of months i am 44 after a 10 years break i am starting to grow again i used to grow in late 90's and early 2000's.
so now i have a new space where i can grow but its in the country and is the first time i will use well water usually was using tap water.
do you thik there is something i can do to water more then reverse osmosis and uv treatement for microbes?

Are you going to use an RO filter then? No need to do more then what you say. RO plus UV will give you perfect water. Like BudsAlive said though...you should know the PPM. Also talk to people in your area to find to find out how wells are generally in the area. I lived in a farm community for awhile and the water had arsenic in it...gads it was terrible.

tx guys for the fast answers , not yet checked the pppm nor the ph of the well i havent been there yet but the owner of the place told me to analize the water as it's from a well so i went to a lab and he said they would analize Ec ph and microbes mainly, as i can test ph and Ec with truncheon and a ph tester i tought the only good analisis i could get would be from patogenes but what can i do if my well water has patogens? uv? right? and as i am gonna do UV and RO anyway i see no point in spending 200 euros to test what i can already test.
am i correct? sorry i am a bit rusty

I think your concerns for pathogens is valid...for people. Meaning the water should be made safe for people...and of course it will be OK for plants.

If you aren't going to drink it...then put chl;orine in it to kill pathogens...and then let it sit to the chlorine evaporate. You are making this more complicated then it needs to be.

Yeah john i thought so as well problem is the owner of the place is a woman in her 50's so she is anxious a lot eheh.
