Water quality report

So I just got my water quality report from my water company and was wondering if someone can look at it and see what they think. I was hoping it showed everything that's in the water but looks like it just shows the stuff they put in it to disinfect it and any contaminants (if present). Just looking for some insight thanks.

from what i know, the only 3 that are "important" are Ca, Mg and Na. ca and mg can help guestimate roughly how much your nutes need to provide and then you don't want much sodium at all.

You should be able to request a more detailed report. That one you got is the basics for public release but they do much more extensive analysis of the water at least every quarter if not monthly. I can tell by the high pH that it's got pretty high alkalinity and likely a pretty high ppm. Have you checked the ppm out of the tap?

I called the little town office here when I still lived in town 20 years ago and got the full meal deal emailed to me for free. Really high iron, sodium and manganese with a pH of 7.5 and 280ppm. Now my tap water comes from a dugout on my property and all I know is it's pH is 8+ and the ppm is 350 - 400+ depending on season. Total crap so I only use RO or distilled water tho did soak down my raised bed outside with the tap water and do sometimes with my indoor plants just because it's chock full of natural myco and bacteria so one good dose gives me that and shouldn't throw everything off eventually like it would if I used it all the time.

Your water source is surface water from the Yadkin river. Unless there is a lot of calcium containing rock in the river system to leach into the water there could be negligible levels of Ca. You would think they would provide a more in depth report though.
