I got some actinovate its streptomyces lydicus and concern copper soap fungicide. I'll grab the atomist tomorrow and give them a spray. I put the two infected in my indoor flower room with the dehumidifier at 50% rh. I noticed some botrytis on another bigger plant thats in the ground my coolaid. Its even worse I cut about 6 buds off :sad: sprayed with ecosmart and hung a boxfan in the greenhouse. weather is clearing up then its going to rain again saturday and sunday. I didn't make it back home in time to check the whole plant It got dark on me. I got what I could I bet I will have to cut the whole damn plant down. :cuss::wall:

I started up my indoor grow and moved a bunch of plants inside so I don't lose everything. I have the dehumidifier running at 50% rh and treated with actinovate. That should take care of those plants. I trimmed the hell out of the coolaid but I keep finding a new spot every day. I have two fans in the greenhouse but I don't know if I can stop it. I would take spidermites over this shit any day.

Those are looking great! Glad to here the weather is drying up for a few.

I've been dealing with what I think is Magnesium Def. A few of the vegging plants in used soil are showing it and one that is now in it's final smart pot. The one in the smart pot looks like it might be pulling out.

This is the one that looks like it is doing better.

When I mixed my soil I did not put any Dolomite Lime in it. I used my old super soil as a base for the mix and it had Dolomite Lime in it. I am now on my second round in this soil.

That's a good assumption I think you're right. You could have used it all up the first run. I don't see any necrosis yet, so maybe you can get away with just scratching some into to surface. I wounder if that pelletised stuff would be better for running more than once.

The way I have been doing it is....

I had made around 80 gallons of super soil a year and a half ago and grew two rounds in it with burning and all that good stuff. The third round fell on its face hard!
After we purchased this house I cut it with Pro mix HP, Happy frog soil conditioner and mushroom compost. I then added my amendments but no Dolomite for my flowering tubs and left some without amendments for clones and beans. This is the soil I have the problems in.

Here is a Platinum Bubba 26 days in... This is the second plant in this tub. It is looking like a bit of fade is happening on the largest fan leafs. but no sign of Mag Def. I need to decide what to do about the fade. Most likely water it and watch Lol. It stopped stretching at 44 inches tall. IMG_1834.JPG

Looks good to me as long as you're getting resin formation. I didn't use any lime in mine but it's mostly composted cow manure.

I'm noticing it in my first batch. I added alfalfa meal to my new batch of CC mix and it is going well.

I do have alfalfa meal in my mix. I was worried about over doing it so I went what I thought was light on the amendments. I have plenty of room to topdress so I will most likely mix up some soil and amendments and add a few inches to the tubs.

Get you a Lil buddy propane heater. A one pound cylinder last all night. A 20 pound last like 80+ hours on low. I run one in my little green house for veggies.

Look up passive green house. You insulate the wall away from the sun and put 55 gallon drums painted black or rock and brick. I lined mine with a couple hundred gallons of water and a lot of brick. It absorbs heat from the sun and releases it at night.

It took severely cold weather to kill my veggies.

I'm fixing to build a large greenhouse with a wood burner with a steam genie coil on top. Then use a water pump to move water to my drums for radiant heat. I will also pile rock and brick around the wood burner. After the fire dies the water and rock will stay warm for hours.

The one I have right now isn't sealed. I tried the little buddy heaters this spring but I think that lp gas creates moisture. Wood heat or a dry heat would be best. I do have a cast iron stove I could install. frenchy was saying to use light deprivation so I could finish before the nasty weather gets here. Too late for that that though I'll try it next year.
I'll build another greenhouse at some point. When I do i'm going to use a rocket mass heater
I'm still getting ideas though I don't want to build it half assed

I was thinking about this stuff
Twin wall polycarb panels. Would that keep condensation off the plants having a thermal barrier? The price tag is going to be high. Another thing I was thinking of is digging the inside out so you walk down into it. If the beds are below the frost line, I should be able to plant sooner and grow later. I want to build it heavy duty so I was thinking cattle fence lined with the polycarb panels. I need to be able to lock it to keep the hoodrats/cops out. We have to lock our pot up like wild animals in this state.

My greenhouse uses those panels. Iv'e never heated it so I can't speak for condensation from that. I do know during the winter when it's in the teens and the sun shines on it the temps hit the mid 70's no problem. There is also no condensation but again no heater. Our panels last around 3 years before they become brittle and start breaking.

That's what I was wondering three years kind of sucks. I might just go with the ten year greenhouse plastic. Thanks for the heads up. I have plenty of time to sort this all out.

Ya.. By the end of the second year they started yellowing. Now you can walk out there and poke your finger through the roof. We had shade cloth over the roof during the summer months to help with the heat the first two years and none this year. The walls are holding up much better and I expect to get 4 maybe 5 years out of them.
