Water HELP!

Hey guys I need some advice I am about to start growing some barneys farm tangerine dream but I am going on holiday in august so that will be near the beginning of the flowering stage and I can't let anyone know I grow so I need to find a way to water mypant for 2 weeks is there any cheap systems or contraptions I can use?

After you find a system you like. Check the DIY section and you'll find that you can build the same thing for a tenth of the cost and usually find all the stuff you need to build it between wally world and lowes

I don't thinl you'll be wanting to leave any hydro system unattended for 2wks.

Or would it be okay if I put my pot in a big bowl and fill it to to the top so it's heavily watered and will it servive for those two weeks? Or would it die of overwater/no water

Use some sort of wick system. I have never done it, but I have seen it done online. You get some kind of rope, wind it around in the bottom of your pot, allowing it it hang out over the top and into a reservoir. Water will wick up the rope and water your plants.

So guys I think I'm going to simply overwater them a lot on the day I leave and hope for the best:/

Overall I would just wait til you get back. Google drip system you'll find plenty of info. Personally Two weeks is a long timeto leave plants unattended.

2 weeks in a container w/no water?...not good. If you must do this, try over-sizing your container.

Found a solution. Autopot.co.uk. I'm not sure how good it works.

I wouldn't over water and leave... Get a small rubbermaid container, submersible pump and loop some spaghetti tubing with drips to your plants and back to the rubbermaid reservoir. You're looking at about $40 - worth it to always have and worth it to save your plant(s).
