Water Curring

I want to try to dye my bud. Is normal dye from the grocery store good enough or do I HAVE to buy a specific type of dye? How long should I let the plant stay in the dyed water? More importantly, how long should I dry the plant after it is dyed? Or, HOW should I dry the plant ...Do I have to cure a dyed plant for more than a day..say weeks like normal curing?

true.. Actually I just reallized that the way to do it is to let a branch suck up the dye while its still alive. I was thinking about straight up puttin the clipped and curred bud in dye...would the dye affect the taste? would putting my currd bud in a watery dye screw up the bud?

May affect taste food coloring in the grow water will probably change its color I used to do it to celery and flowers in a vase when I was a kid. I don't know about taste but food coloring does taste pretty nasty have you ever tried it? Why are you dying your bud again?
