Hey everyone, Im trying to make some sort of water cooling system for my grow box and would love some feedback on it
first of all you can check out my setup on my journal:
https://www.rollitup.org/t/stealth-loudspeaker-grow-cfl.822635/
maybe the photos there will help you grasp the whole idea a little better
back to business, I'm trying to do this as simple as possible and also without a pump!
I was thinking of using the fact that cold water weighs more than hot water to my benifit
I have two scenarios in mind, the first is to use two pc fan radiators which I will attach to my fans like this:

If I'm correct, after I fill the whole system with cold water (still thinking of how to do that without spilling lol) the bottom intake fan will blow cold air and after some time the water will heat up and move up to where the outtake fan is, and hopefully will cool down again and so on...
I'm really really skeptical that the outtake fan will actually cool the water, because there is also heat from the lights and from the fan itself - but I'm hoping it will work for the first couple of hours of the light cycle - which is when the temps outside are the highest
after that when the lights go off the water will cool down or I could just refill it with cold water every day.
the second idea is exactly the same only cheaper
- but probably less effective :/

instead of radiators I can use a simple copper tube that's filled with water (this is easier to fill up as well)
do you guys think this will work? I'll love to hear your thoughts on it
by the way, I added a picture of a pc radiator for those of you who want to know what it looks like

and for those of you who had experience with pc radiators: would they act as a light trap? I'm afraid I dont have much room and if I want to use a radiator its instead of a light trap...
Cheers
