Water color

Quick question, I'm planning on doing a flush, so I filled up a bucket of new water I'm gonna use added the nutes and ph'd it, I'm using GH nutes and followed the instructions on the bottle, well I put a little less then what they called for, so my question is, one of the nutes I put In Changed my water color to a reddish color, the nutes look like dye so I'm assuming it should be alright??

Im confused. Why are u mixing nutes if u r flushing? Flushing is just water and no need to adjust ph.

If your gunna flush you shouldnt be adding nutes. Flushing is with water only and it doesnt have to be ph'd

Yeah my bad, i got fuked up there, I'm not actually flushing just changing the water for the first time, not sure if I even need too my plants look good and the water isn't slimy or anything, another question will having the roots out of water hurt them?
