you could boil it than let it cool to room temp, or if your water isn't too "hard" you could just let the water sit out uncapped for a few days to let the chlorine evaporate. :leaf:

or buy a cheap distiller 100$ or collect rain water or get a ro system 250$ + labor or diy

boiling makes the chlorine evaporate faster. Do you live in the city? if you do, check the PPM of your tap water before you use it...

Get a TDS/PPM meter first, and see what you're working with. I got lucky and have tap water with only 35 PPM, which is next to nothing.(also a PH of 6.8) If your water is over a certain 'hardness'(PPM) you won't be able to use it, even if you let it sit out for a month.lol

Hmm....I guess I should shut my mouth and let the guys who deal with this shit, help you deal with this shit?

And I have never had a problem. My ppm for my water is around 160 and the ph straight from the tap varies from 7.0 to 8.0

when I re-fill my 125 gallon nute tank or when I top it off I run straight from the hose to the tank. I then use some a chlorine remover that is used in aquariums and let it circulate in the tank for about 30 mins and then I add my nutes and then balance the ph. This has worked for me for the past 12 months with no problems.
