can i use one chiller to cool 2 rez's? i figure i can take my 1/2 inch lines running to a TEE and from there to the chiller on a small pump, and the chilled water running out to another Tee and back to both rez's. would that work? i have 5 large systems, 5 large rezis and dont feel like going for atleast 2grand more, one rez is a 55gal drum for the ebb and grow, the other 4 are 27gallon rubbermade totes for my aero sets, i need a solution i have 3 rooms and the 6500btu a/c;s dont cut it anymore since i went to 3600 watts per room and fuck upgrading a/c's if i can just get the chiller

You can use the tee. just gotta go down two the room and switch it over. Or your can spend the bucks and get an auto switch. Last there are those electric cooling plugs. you just drill a 1 1/4" hole. the fit on like a bulkhead fitting, the have a heatsink and fan on the back. Plug in and cool up 55 gal. There is no way to turn the cooling off, unless you add a thermostat. You can get them off weedbay for 99 bucks buy it now. I have not seen the thermo on there. But I have seen the thermo on the intronet. on a 55 gal drum I would maybe use 2, 1 high and one low. You got 5 res? sounds like 500 bucks, or about the price of a intery chiller that will cool one res.

im gonna go ahead and order 3 of the 1/10HP since they are around 3 amps, this is all a precautionary measure, i used to be able to keep temps at 72 and rez at 69, now temps go to low 80's, if i cant make the connected chiller i will use one rez for 2 systems and make my draining tubes longer, im running a few different strains and i like the strains to have thier own rez, my target would be for a 5degree change and better, thats assuming wihtout the chiller it will get over 75F water temp, so splitting the water flow will likely take longer to cool the rez or make only a smaller change in temps, they claim for the via aqua 1/10 i can get 10degree change on a 90gallon tank and 35 on a 35 gallon tank, i really dont like to talk about my setup or post pix anymore, as you can see i upgraded a bit form a closet so im a lil paranoid
