wat is the best amount of time to veg for?? Should I top them??

Hey dudes, was just wondering the best amount of time to veg my nl's??
They are seven weeks old from seed,and I have them vegging five weeks!!
Was planning on just vegging for one more week and then start flower period.But would like some peoples opinion please!
And was wondering wether to top them or not is it good or bad for the girls.They are six nodes up so they are ready for topping!
And can I trim away lower leaves now or should I just leave them?
Would you get more yeild by topping?? Will quality be the same?

Well I have five of them so think I'll top two just to get some expierience of topping!
I will top today and them veg for one more week!
What is the story wit trimming lower leaves or fan leave is it ok to do so? Or will I leave them be?

if your only gonna top 2 of your plants, trying topping 1 and FIM the other, IMO FIMing is better caz it does the same thing but doesnt stress the plant as much as topping so it will recover quicker. I cut away the bottom branches a couple weeks before flowering, but once u switch to 12/12 dont cut any branches and dont trim your fan leaves.

Wat is fim?? Well I could leave them and not trim or top if this is better for the girls!
Just wanted to try get four main colas! There about a foot tall and very bushy, i have a dr60 tent so I don't have to much room!
Bout four foot in growing height??

Fimming and Topping are good for the plant but they shouldnt be done in or close to flowering, the reaosn is you want your plant in 12/12 mode to concentrate on flowering and not reparing itself. M Blaze has a good tutorial on FIMming, I love it i do it to all my girls a couple of times and get alot more colars. this method and topping IMO yield more but u have to veg alittle longer to give them time to recover and for the other colars to grow. if there already really bushy maybe u dont need it. also if u got 4ft and there 1ft now u got plenty of room to grow them either way. So the way i see it, FIMming of Topping will yield more but take alittle longer to veg, leaving them alone will yield less but u will harvest earlier. i hope that helps u out abit

veg as long as you can and still have enough head room to finish the plant, i would not only top 1 or two, if your going to top , top them all to keep your canopy level, the topped plants will be hurting for light cuz the untopped ones will get much taller faster

I think I will top all the girls, and veg for two more weeks so they will be then vegging for seven weeks!! Will this make my girls much stronger for flowering??

yeah he is right u gotta do it all of them, i didnt think of it caz i use 1 600watter over each plant. i veg for 8 weeks the stalk and branches will be nice and fat, if time isnt a problem and u want the biggest yield then deff fim or top them. wish u all the best mate
