Waste of time? Male or female?

Ok so I'm on my first grow and started with clones taken from the plant in the picture, everything is going well, they're healthy and whatnot, but today I got these pictures from the person that has the "mom" and it doesn't look good to my inexperienced eyes..it's not legal where I'm at so I'm not trying to keep them around for pollination or anything like that, so is it chop chop time? Thanks stoners.

Little more info on the plant, it's been growing rather wild outside, wild in the sense of they're not taking very good care of it but it looks beautiful..it's been out for about 4-5 months now. Not sure of soil. No nutes only water.
