Wash stones or new stones

I have green perlite and used lava rocks that have been in salty medium
Do I buy new
Or do I run the ro all day to wash them n bake them?

Gypsum removes sodium by the interaction between the sulfate ions and sodium. The negatively charged sodium ions attract with the positively charged sodium ions, forming sodium sulfate, which is highly leachable from the soil.

Then vinegar and soap disrupt any bonds and acids that formed ?

Or do I just buy bloody new

soak in sterilizing solution for a bit like bleach/water and you're good. the green might stay but it's fine.

Don't flood it with chemicals, buy new stuff, it's cheap.

A soak in weak bleach solution and a thorough rinse will do it..
