I get 1,000 emails of that type every week,plus another 1,000 saying ive been elected President of Nigeria,all that crap goes directly into the spam folder & dumped once a month.

i acepted the 4500 hundred dollar check for my 300 dollar craigs list item. I was supposed to cash the check and take out my 300, better make that 500 for my trouble, and send the rest to the guy who was too busy to do this himself.

So I said ok. Then i got the check I told him I only deal with strippers etc, etc. I have the check for 4500 right here lol.

It;s from a closed bank and a legit business that is aaware of the problem.

I used to report them but its gotten out of hand on my end.

I sell high dollar home hifi/stereo & home theater equipment on ebay so that makes me an automatic target for all the scams,if i reported all the con men emailing me it would be a full time job,i bet we get several dozen scam emails every week,sometimes a dozen every day.

I also got a huge check for a motorcycle i was selling on craigslist! I still have it and i get emails from the sender asking why i havnt cashed it! It was from the univ. Of mass. Credit union i called to verify funds and they told me they dont have checks with their name on them ! Funny stuff!! I made them awar thet told me they get ten calls a day about these chechs...
