how do you get your dog to be aggressive towards intruders?
Personally, I found that just HAVING the dog was a huge deterrent. Everyone in our neighborhood knew we had a pit, part of our front yard was enclosed so we would let him run around out there all the time. People would cross the street when they saw us walking him. A lot of people were scared to come anywhere near him, even though he was the sweetest, most loving dog in the world.

I feel bad for dogs that are kept and treated solely as guard dogs. I think a dog that is part of the family is a better protector anyways, because dogs are just so loyal.

Are NEW pit we just picked up this morning. Also have 2 full grown red nose pits. ill try to find pics of them.
OMG sooo cute! I want one!

i have a big half pit half lab.. hes pretty big like 70 pounds (big to me) but he just seems like too much of a good guy to get seriously aggresive. but his deep bark would detour anybody.
