Tell me about it... once I solve one problem I get fucked by another
And on top of that my wife's in the hospital so Im constantly driving back and forth from work to the hospital so I'm hardly home Thanks man, yeah they seem to be pulling through. Yeah it sure looks like it has stopped spreading, but the damage is done
I think for next grow I either need to switch to bloom ferts quicker or supplement cal/mag with the veg nutes. Seeing as how the plants are turning yellow early on I may go the veg nute/calmag route.

On a side note - stopped by the store today and picked myself up a Hortilux Eye Super HPS thingy. I really like this store... very cheap and extremely knowledgable staff. The 400w bulb was $74.95. I brought in my Ultra Sun bulb, and they tested it to see if it was broken. Nope. It lit up just fine on their ballast. The guy then told be the new Lumatek E-Ballasts only fire well with high end bulbs, not the cheapo brands.
So I plugged this bad boy in and damn! HUGE difference. The color is much less orange than before (due to the enhanced blue spectrum) and it was much brighter than the Ultra Sun (although Im sure in the next week the brightness will dim to its normal level). So far, I say this bulb is well worth it

I think I saw one in 250W as well, so yeah, pick one up! I think HowzerMD uses one and his bushes are nice and thick. Cant wait to get a new crop going to test this bulb out from seed.

the bulb im running now is only 2 months old but i think the upgrade will still be worth it. i really want to just upgrade my whole lighting configuration to atleast a 600w

Kudos on picking up the Eye. Great lamps I tells' ya. One thing though, $75 isn't cheap my man. Do some shopping around and look for electrical supply/contractor supply stores. You'll get much closer to wholesale prices..I got my Eye for about $35... And I hope things are as good as they could be with the wife. It's no fun dealing with that.

Lookin awesome man! Those buds definitely look swollen compared to mine. I hope they do the same! How are you planning on harvesting? I might do a double harvest (take down the top colas and let the bottom ones grow out a bit more)
