i've been to alaska a few times, and have a friend there. it's something you should really check out. it's expensive there, but the pay is good, depending on what you do. it's hard to get use to those long ass days. we were fishing at 2 in the morning, lol. i think residents get yearly checks from the money that comes from the pipeline, or they use to anyway. long cold winters, but amazing place to be if you're into hunting/fishing/the outdoors. i really liked it, but don't think i could live there, lol...

bring a girl with you.One you trust or dgaf about, either way, pack pussy. You should plan on having clean piss for a bit so you can get a job.Apply on line for slope jobs,They will hire you in Wash, and fly you back n fourth every few weeks.Take some osha, msha, welding classes or something in the meantime.
If the oil feilds aren't your thing, union halls are looking for young guys. There is money to be made up here but you gotta be a worker.
As far as dope smoking dead end jobs, there are those also.I'd rather see you be pulling in 150 a year working 26 weeks a year though

I lived in Dutch Harbor for 3 years, then Kodiak for a year and every summer fishing salmon commercially in Prince William Sound for the past 6 years. One thing I can tell you - weed is in great demand. And at $100 an 1/8oz in those remote towns you can make a killing. Hypothetically speaking of course - I'd never advocate doing anything illegal ;)

well there are some things we aren't supossed to talk about:lol: But since you guys are such close friends.Yes it's true.Basically, the amount depends on a five year average of the profits of the states investments of the oil industry's taxes.Or some bs.It ranges from 7oo or 800 to 1500 maybe. You can lose the money if you owe anybody anything.Every person in the household gets one.On your second bday you can get your first check. Its nice to get but its not like it offsets the cost of living much

yeh, what's up with that slowbus? I've heard this before too.

any truth to it? if so how much...roughly?
Last time I got one was 2009 I think, and that was about $1600 or something. You have to be a resident and you have to file for it sometime before June or something. You can check on state website - rules could have changed, I have done it in almost 5 years.

spoiled little bitches that are to good for work. They get monied up and say fuck work.No matter what job you get on the slope,a CDL will really spark the interest of employers.Even if its a house cleaning job
