Wanting to know more about Klamath Falls area..

Hey guys! I'm in the midst of looking for a house to buy and hopefully doing a personal outdoor grow. I have this place I'm looking at North of Klamath Falls and was wondering what do you guys think of the weather around that area? I might possibly get a greenhouse but is it possible to actually have a good harvest compared to west of the cascades in Grants Pass and such. Thanks!

If the internet is to believed, you'll not have much problems (based on averages) it's actually better than grant's pass in a few ways (lower heat in summer and MUCH less percip around harvest time (esp in oct and nov and even a bit less percip in mid/late sept, not as much less as eastern oregon, but enough less that you could in theory play with some long flowering strains with a little effort...) the sunshine and what not seems to be about the same too (according to city-data.com...) You'll hopefully get a bit more of a response eventually, but by and large, this segment of the board is flipping dead ;)

Thats actually great to hear :D Yeah I've realized that now haha, I just got desperate and didn't know where else to post something like this ;o

Hey Steven how did it work out? I've been looking to move over to Oregon and Klamath Falls is one of the places we've been looking at.

Sorry for bumping an old thread and im sure you know by now,but aside from our unpredictable winters its easy to grow anything here in the falls area. Only thing i havent grown is artichokes (ima try though!).
