I purchased some beans from sannies a while back and right now i have a killing fields thats about 4-5 weeks into flower. The caylx's(cayli ?) are turning purple already and I want to make sure I can keep this purple strain one way or another. I'd rather not have to revert to veg to take clones. What is my best option at this point? I'm thinking maybe take a few cuts from the lower/smaller branches. I did top them and lst for about 2-3 weeks of true "Veg" after the seedling stage. I'm not super worried about losing yield from this grow by cutting some clones as I really just want to make sure I can get a mother out of the strain. My other option i guess is to just leave it as is and try and harvest then reveg? If I go this route I also have no problem leaving some buds/leaves whatever on it to make sure it can survive and reveg. Any tips or suggestions i'm willing to try. I assume it's about 40% through flower phase as it says 11-13 weeks on sannies site. I guess my best option would be to try a combination of both right? Try and take a few cuttings and I would know in 2-3 weeks max if any of them are going to survive/root. This would still be another 4-5 weeks to even try and take another cutting or two(though it'd be 8-9 weeks into flower at that point) before i try and do a 75% harvest(or however the best way to do this is)and try to reveg.
I am just super excited to have gotten a purple strain of KF and I don't want to lose it. Not that it's super rare or anything, but you know what i mean. Also have some Mad Shack, Mad Kush, and K.O. Kush going too.
