Want a head buzz rather than couch lock, what do you think?

Hi everyone, As the title says I'm looking for more of a head buzz rather than a couch lock sort of stone. My plants are now 12 weeks and 3 days old since sprouting (87 days)

I flipped the lights to 12/12 for the photo on 23.12.20 so they have had 6 weeks under 18/6 & 12/12 for the last 6 weeks and 3 days (45 days)

How much longer am I looking at do you think? The pictures are of different bud sites at varying heights on both plants and not just the tallest ones. Thanks for taking a look.

You want a head buzz but grow a strain 80% indica.

What he’s trying to say is chopping early isn’t going to make it a head buzz. Genetics are genetics. Just grow the plant out and chop on the early side of the harvest window. Maybe 60-65 days.
 
A fast sativa-dominant hybrid is much headier than an indica chopped early.

Lemon amnesia freebies from herbies head shop is pretty quick flowering, and definitely heady. Sugar candy from delicious seeds is an incredibly clear sativa but with a nice body effect as well. I chop it at day ~52 from flip, amnesia I will let go 55 days.

I grow tiny clones, but I'm always chopping a couple days sooner than recommended.
I have also perpetually harvested plants until they threw nanners, and almost doubled my harvest. I mean chopping tops off from day 60-90 etc.

Thanks for the recommendations, I'll check them out. I'm not in a rush to chop these down, I just wanted a few opinions from more experienced growers.

I've been growing for less than a year and am still trying to find my feet and there is some good knowledge and info on here but also a fair few shit talkers who I wouldn't trust to grow cress.

Wtf u in my room? Lol

I have a Sugar Candy finished in 11.5 weeks flowering and an Amnesia Lemon finishing week 13 of flower. Done in about a week.

To the OP your answer is pick the appropriate strain and get the buzz described if grown well.

Wait, 11.5wk of 12/12 ?!?! 13 weeks of flower?? Do you mean 11.5-13wks from germination???

L.A. Will get you incredibly high. Smoke more, get higher.... You don't waste it by hitting a "plateau"; you just get higher....

Sugar candy is my favorite strain ever. It's medicinal to me.
^edit: I say medicinal, but my niece was annoying the fuck out of me when I smoked it. It didn't cure that.

That Peyote is about as Sativa as it gets .... breeder info always should be taken with a grain of salt .... harvest times and FINAL result.
That strain is leaning to Sativa side of cross .... nothing wrong with that , but not as advertised. Your HEAD HIGH will be there in that strain .... just run it as long as it needs .
 
Seeds often get Mis-packaged and labeled. Too easy to make mistakes slinging seeds. Sometimes on purpose as in bunk shit.
Barney’s is what it is .... ran their Tangerine Dream ( hot garbage ) / Blue Cheese ( stalled ) and pretty much moved on to others.
But good to see a good looking plant.

Yes sir. Lord Thundercat, who liked my post above, gives expert lessons in understanding what done means. And I learned from him.

Honestly it's fxxxxxx terrifying going past week 7/8 with Sugar Candy because it looks so good then. And it flowers sooner and faster than any other strain ive seen. Its my 2nd time growing it. Very impressive smells and taste.

At 11/12 weeks it had swelled about 3 times. A much larger harvest, stronger too. But it does not look as good visually as 7/8 weeks.

The Amnesia Lemon has 2 foot colas indoors. 8 of them, it is manifolded and should yield a half pound or more. I jammed that plant into roughly 2x2x4' (4' tall) . It looks magnificent and waiting for a 8/9 week strain to finish in 14 weeks and then dry and cure is a bitch to wait for!

Good smoke can help block out annoying relatives but it doesnt make them disappear ☻
