Ok after lurking in the shadows of this forum for a while now I have decided to jump in with both feet and get started on a grow room design. I always enjoy the posts where everyone gets involved with the design of the project. Plus when you get all the help at the start you really limit the mistakes.
I have decided on a few things already. I wanna go with a homemade aeroponic system. I am either going to clone a Aerojet or a Aquamist system. I am a very DIY guy so building and tinkering are the fun parts to me.
I have a 15,000 Btu air conditioner sitting in my garage ready to use and I say the budget of this room should be in the $1500 to $2500 range.
I have added pictures of the building that I am going to use. As of right now the rafters are open inside and the walls are framed and it has a wood floor. I plan on closing that in but figured laying out all the air ducting first would be wise.
I am also open to cutting open anything in the roof/walls,etc. Whatever needs to be done I am ok with.
So let me have it, what would you do if you were me? What lights, what layout, what other equiptment?
Thanks everyone in advance for helping me with this pet project. I can't wait to get started.
