Tick, Tock, lol! I have a couple of babys just up, and a couple in flower, and waiting for the buds to grow is almost as bad as waiting on the babies to stand alone and toughen up.

If everything is going well, you will be needing more lighting real soon, and a lot more for flowering stage.

Ok, help me with this,

This is a soil grow. I have a plant about half inch stem at the place where it splits into two nearly the same size branches. I naturally tied the two limbs together at the Y with yarn, (green if it matters), to prevent any splitting, as I "spread that little girl wide open". I constructed a wire spanner to go between the limbs about a foot above where I have it tied, and one branch gladly leaned to the side, the other, not so much, so I have a big V kind of leaning like this |/, though neither limb was plumb.

Of course, I wanted to make both limbs lean evenly so for a few days, I pulled that straighter limb down, and held it. It would gradually pull right back into the same place it was. I don't have any place to tie it off for now, so I finally made an adjustable weight, out of an empty Crown Royal bottle, (breakthrough pain med, guitar fuel, etc.). At first, not much happened, but you see, I could fill the bottle about 1/4 full, then 1/2 full, and the limb pulled nicely, till the Crown bottle rested on the adjacent pot.

It was like I had exercised that plant, and the more I pulled, the stronger it got. Well, I fought this for a while, and soon I was having to use a heavier bottle, and if I drank more than half of it, the plant could easily lift the bottle off the neighboring pot, so I could only drink about 1/3 by then. Well, you can imagine my frustration at this turn of events. I decided to leave the lid off the bottle. This served two purposes, as I see it. First, I could easily add or remove that precious nectar to provide just the right pull, and second, of course, I was sure the fumes from the alcohol would react with the cellulose in the stems, and help relax them, so they would eventually pull into position under the lights, I hoped.

It was only a few nights later when I FINALLY figured what had happened all along. Every time the alcohol would get low, from evaporation or whatever, I'd add a little, and as the plant got stronger, (or so it seemed) I started needing to add quite a bit, daily. I just happened to open the grow room that night, and I never do that, because I have had a bunch of plants with their days & nights all mixed up, and I don't wanna go there. Anyway, I opened the door, and it was immediately evident the problem with this plant. Every day, as I added a little Crown, it would pull the limb down where I wanted it. Then I'd go away, and every time the lights went off, the water system would add nutrients, water, and such. Upon getting this shot of Nutes, and water, the dang plant would pick the bottle back up, and then rest all night in that position. This particular night I should have bought a lottery ticket, because I opened that door just as the plant was picking the bottle up, and taking a drink with one of it's buds! That darn plant was sloshed. Well, I put that lid back on the bottle, after draining it into my glass, and replacing the booze with PH balanced water, RO filtered of course. I also used an eyedropper of Perrier and a baby aspirin smashed up, in a gallon of the clean water, to help with the hangover.

Well, you'd think this took care of it, and the dang plant would bounce right back, but NO! This thing went into the plant DT's, and started shedding leaves at will, and yanked a few leaves off the plants around her. I think if she had feet, she'd have spit on the leaves, and stomped them into the floor. So Q#1 is, Where can I find a good center for me or the plant, or both. This is outa hand, and one of us HAS to get our shit together! I don't think it is me, as the other plants are doing ok, or as well as can be expected with this crazy BI^CH in there.

Now to the other Q's. 2nd is, do you think I should just let her have a little, you know, to take the edge off, and maybe taper her off slowly, or should I leave behavior modification to the pro's? I know I feel better now that I don't have to give her so much, but I guess I would not miss a little bit, and it shouldn't take that much. I kind feel like I'd be "enabling" her, but at the same time, I do have compassion for her situation, however she refuses to give me a clue what exactly set her off! I tried a little Cal-Mag, but there was little or no response to that at all. She seems to know what she wants, which is more than I can say for some folks these days.

And finally, I have re-read this, and I can't for the life of me figure out if this posting is allegorical, or literal, so I need to know, IS THERE A REAL PROBLEM? or is this just a perceived problem, on my part, that might work it's self out over time? I should probably get a camera, set it up on motion detect, and see just exactly what the heck she is doing in there! Maybe I need a fan?

Oh, and most importantly, I wanted to know if anyone can tell me, did the plant really get stronger, or was she just drinking more? I have never seen a weightlifting whiskey drinking strain before, but I guess it could be a small mutation? is it genetically safe to smoke this pot?

Anyway, keep up the good growing, and HAPPY NEW YEAR Ya'LL!

I hope you guys got a laugh out of this, and I mean no offense at all, just a great time for all in 2011!

cool, waiting....

Thanks Zenith,
I'll do that, and I am, of course, available to assist others with their plant's emotional issues as well. It is important that your plants really like you, and feel that you are really on their side. Once they know and like you, they get a better sense for your needs, medically and otherwise, and can better make the exact balance of THC-CBD-CBN to help you.
