Once you have strong seedlings move your plants closer to the lights, I use a stack of books or whatever to prevent stretching.

hey man, real nice, those temps are fine, any thing to the low 80's are good, but everything looks great, subbed.

I would add a six inch fan once you have seedlings. get that air moving around in there so the plants vibrate slightly. You dont want them blowing on the plants directly, but every grow needs a fan.

The grow room looks good!!! Pick up an old PC fan and an old cell phone/cordless drill charger. My local Northern Tool sells used PC fans for about 6 - 7 US dollars. If your temps are 70 now, you should be fine for ventilation. Like "justparanoid" said, air movment will help strengthen the stems to help hold all those FAT buds you will harvest three months from now!!
Looking good, keep up the good work!!
I'm watching with anticipation! + rep

There should be info on the fan stating something like, 12V, .25 ma,
On the charger it should say something like "Output 12V, 1ma", these numbers vary depending on the original use. You can run a 12 V fan using a 5 V charger, although it will spin at roughly half speed. I'm pretty sure I read a DIY on this forum. I'll see if I can find it and post it for you. It's a simple setup!!

Here's the link! Good Luck!!

All I've sprouted was bag seed. From a couple different bags, I've had germination happen in as little as 18 hours, and as much as a week and a half! I think the age of the seed, how the seed was stored, and the conditions the germinating seed is put in, all these factors (and probably more!) have an effect on the length of the germination time.
If you give them warmth and moisture your seeds will usually sprout.
I used the paper towel method to sprout the seed and then carefully placed the sprouts in pearlite filled peat pots. Lots of people sow seeds directly in soil or rock wool. It would be intresting to see a side by side comparison of different seed germination methods!

i like the paper towel method, mine usually pop in about 24 hours, heres what i use, just keep it warm and youre good to go. i always put just a few drops of the ortho upstart in a little water i mix in that other tub, then in the cake dome and on top of a vcr or tv.
