Yes they do. I happened near me in Illinois a couple years ago. Lead to a dawn raid and everything. Made the newspapers.
Yep, there have been lots of stories of the law casing out the grow shops. At the one I visit in person once in awhile I see people parking elsewhere and walking to the place. It may not do much good to park a block away but it shows that many people are wary about it.
A long way to carry 2 sacks of dirt and 4 cu. ft. of coarse perlite. lol.
