wall reflectors for light

so look, this might be a dumb question..but has anyone experimented with different sources to create more light, such as in a closet? and does using the shiny vs. dull side of aluminum foil make a difference? i recall reading somewhere to use the dull side to diffuse light..

thanks for any help in advanced.

yes if you must use foil then the dull side is better, how ever painting your walls flat white is alot better and reflects more than foil.

Try to stay away from foil. It can put off hot spots. Most closets are already flat white so should be good there. Or a better way is get on of the emergency blankets for around 7-10 bucks snd line the walls. It is mylar and great for reflection.
