He's a lump of shit and bluster that was fortunate enough to manipulate a couple hundred redneck meth heads, nothing more. ***Potential SPOILERS for those not familiar with the books*** As the events of 'All Out War' begin to unfold, you'll meet some TRULY 'Godlike' characters, and realize that Negan - like most sadistic bullies - is little more than a frightened little bitch.

Note: In the book, when Negan smashes Glenn, Maggie loses her shit and attacks Rick, bloodying his face with a barrage of blows. She yells "You fucking COWARD!" (among other things) at him, and it takes Carl drawing on her ("Stop hurting my dad!") to end the situation.

The comic is different you aren't technically safe from possible spoilers in the show

Comics are far more superior to the tv show IMHO
The comics have made the show less enjoyable for me because I much prefer the content in the comic

The comic is extremely gruesome


The governor repeatedly rapes and beats michonne in the comics
And eventually she cuts off his dick

As for negan he is much more brutal in the comics but the actor they have is perfect
For him for the tv show

I guess I base my estimate of deities by the abrahamic god Yahweh/Allah/Jehovah, since I was brought up with him. He's a terrible, fearsome monster, too -
