Walk in Closet of Loft Closet?

I'm my house the duct work runs under my floor and thru all the ceilings. Think central air. All ducts run together essentially. Now in a condo I dont know exactly how it works because everyone had their own thermostat.

I believe you would be wasting space by putting a tent in a closet tbh.

The other thing is when you open the tent/closet door you will have smell escape into the condo. There really is no way to stop that from happening.

it really isn’t a problem for my condo to have a slight amount of odor. only worried about neighbors

Don't vent into the attic from the loft closet. You will end up with moisture issues that could cause damage. Then,, you could be held liable for that damage. And if anyone else's condo shares that attic space the smell will get into their place as well. A friend of mine did something very similar and caught heck for it.
Big carbon filters and venting directly outside is probably the best way to go in this situation.

pardon my ignorance, but if i ran the air through a filter/s, would that solve the moisture issues?

Not really. Running through carbon filters and dumping the exhaust into my garage during winter leaves large deposits of condensate frost on the inside of the windows.

My buddy ended up with moisture and mold issues when he used the attic. His neighbors also complained constantly about the smell. That is until they tried to rob him while I was there. Ohhh I hate freaking meth heads! It sucked, had to beat up a meth head and pull down the plant a week early. Then wait for the cops to come arrest him. Errrg!
So anyway, I would not vent into the attic. It leads to all sorts of problems.

damn. so glad i made this thread... so im better off venting into a bathroom exhaust duct? or should i just grow some roses??

If you can and it's vented to the outside like it should be. I would access the duct in the attic if I were able and install a y coupler. And maybe an inline booster fan after that.
So glad I live in a house in a legal state. And that I have great neighbors!

It's a condo building.

I'm not sure they can vent like that unfortunately.

I dont know about duct work in apartment buildings but I found this.

If they have central air it looks like it will be an issue. If that carbon filter fails in anyway it looks like it will be problematic.

A question about the smell leaking out and your neighbors noticing it. Do they complain much after you go out for a night of beer and hot wings?
