I only got the 4'x4'x6'8" because that 100$ I won from Mars hydro. If I can ever get this mofo to come do his job in the basement I can get back down there. I have two rooms that I had all ducted and set up the way I liked
Biggest not always better man. So much more to deal with. Everything changes when you go bigger then everything you have is basically useless so you want to get better equipt eg venting lights fans etc etc.

Ain't that the truth. Once I get back into my rooms I'm probably just gonna use the tent to dry in

All I want to add to my set up is one big light that flowers a 5'x5' and a water chiller and I'd be set. And maybe a 6" ac infinity to hook up with my 8". But what I have works for now. I only veg one big one at a time

Is it hard to keep temps in check with cmh? I don't know nothing about them. I had one 600w hps and took it down the same night I put it up cause the heat
Lol. It's a learning curve. Proper air flow cool intakes and proper venting. Note those 2 fans pumping under the bulbs to disperse the heat
I'll even run heatsinks on top of the ballasts to help distribute the heat off them and vent it out quicker.
Even on the led boards. When I set them all up I'll take a shot of it

I've been looking at the new 1000w CMH from illuminar
You won't regret it, I really like the LED bar light I'm using, but if I were to expand, I'd get the illuminar 1,000 watt DE hands down in spite of the electricity cost. Oh, and check out their far red bulbs if you haven't already. I wanted to switch back to my illuminar 630 de for winter, but my arthritis is too bad right now to take down my LED lol.
