Wait for the triangles? Lol

So im growing blueberry, feminized, canuk seeds.

Told a hydro store owner and in passing I understood that you know blueberry is done when you see the triangles forming on the buds.

Some guy in back was like.. He means trichomes!

And the owner was baked and went on to the next question from that guy.

Anyways .

I figure he's taking about foxtailing or new terminal buds forming crowns on the colas.

OH, he also said all the hairs will turn brown and fall off first

.

Anyone want to put some two cents in lol


Or anyone grow blueberry befor and have some tips? I'm on week 4.5 flower

Blueberry will be like any other developing bud...calyces will swell, hairs will turn red/Brown and withdraw toward the bud, the whole flower will have a full and ripe appearance.

Here is a pic of my blueberry from last year at harvest. You should be getting a blueberry nose from the flowers when you finger sweep em.

Yeah I kind of figured, this is my first time trying to grow blueberry. Figured maybe there was some strain trick or some shit. Lol

Did you happen to harvest at different times?

I'm hoping to leave this as long as they need to get the full blueberry smell and from what I've seen, hopefully some nice blue/purple tones

Thanks for the input, most of the grow journals I've found so far are for blueberry autos or bb mixed with shit.

I know the dutch passion blueberry i grew for a few years had pine cone style buds.

I actually got tired of it about 10 years ago and let it go kinda regret it now ... but everyone up here was rocking a blueberry .

I was one of the first people to do a lemon that i knew of at least with the peeps i knew.


But now after i smelled the blackberry auto also from dutch passion odly enough . It brought back memories of my blue berry.


So hopefully some of those seeds will have some berry going on.

Also just got some more green point seeds with some berry action in it

Nice, I'm hoping a found a killer blue pheno.

I started 10bb seeds and kept saving the best one but never grew it out yet.

That's the huge trunked mother in the 4inch rw cube haha

Cloned out 18 and their growing great , not too leafy, great bud shape.

Maybe that's the triangles?

I would not use him as a source of information. Clearly lacks grow knoweledge or is too high to be useful. Each strain is a little different but the ques to harvest are the same.

First off, and sadly. I wouldn't call that a "true" Blue Berry.

Shorts worked at 2 places and they shared the BB of reality.

Mr. Shorts did develop it himself..Before he worked at either. This was decades ago!
Today, the things sold as blue berry are poor representations of the original...Weak links to the past....

The most desired "cut" of the old original,,,is the Muffin Cut.......Smells and tastes just like fresh from the oven Blue Berry muffins! POTENT too.

This, is an old original Muffin cut BB.....


The smell and taste of a cured bud is just insane.....

hydro owners are the worst dude!! i went to my local and the guy was high out of his fkn mind like almost xand out, trying to sell me spinnosad for 50 bucks!
