Truck guy is still an asshole though.

Actually, the roads are covered with assholes these days. Between texting, distracted driving, people in a hurry to go no where, drunks, residential area speeding around children pedestrians and morons who think it's cool to drive on the center line, it's not surprising there are incidents daily.

The roads are the one place I root for more cop presense. Slow 'em the fuck down.

They just hired a girl cop in my little town. She pulls everybody over who goes 5 miles over the 25 mph limit. Usually just gives 'please slow down' warnings except for the idiots who decide to argue with her. I always give her the thumbs up.

I watch that video and the first thing that comes to mind is Weed vs Alcohol. The calm dude with dreds (weed) is talking all sorts of login and common sense. The angry old white guy (Alcohol) acting irrationally and only acknowledging it after a bit of a toung lashing.

If the old with guy would just trade in his scotch and beer for some joints and dabs, the world would be a much happier place.

I agree, he was the one that initially instigated the interaction while brandishing his gun

The description of the video, posted by the other driver, says he pulled out his gun during the exchange to make his point that it could have ended up much worse. At that point, you can kind of see the older guy in the white truck realizes the seriousness of the situation and what it could have led to and checks his ego.

I'm glad this situation didn't turn out much worse than it potentially could have

More police is never the answer. Teaching people to respect others and that they aren't the center of the universe would go much further.

This is still one of my favorites.

In the comments people say the driver should have moved over and let the truck pass but if you notice the yellow safety jacket that means the person was a highway worker. I deal with assholes like this all the time that think they own the road even when someone is working. I get fuckers trying to push me out of my lane all the time and I have flashing lights all over my car and directional tape on the back. Cameras are becoming life savers now a days, I run with a camera facing out the back and front of my car. Most of the time just seeing the camera is enough to get someone to back the hell up.

That doesn't work anymore. There is far less respect for others today than there ever was.

All you need is a cop car parked along side of a road and suddenly everybody slows down. Nothing else works.

Fear of fines, DMV points, etc.

I hear you, but I have major issues with fear being an acceptable way for government to control people. Especially a government where "life, liberty and pursuit of happiness" is kinda a big part of its founding. But that's all BS for politics..

In my area they always have a few dummy cars out.. cars with dummies in them.. it always makes me laugh. They park them all over the place
