W.O.S Afghan Kush X Black Domina?

Right now i just got done trying a couple tiny under nugs that were just now were smokable, i'm typing really slow and my body feels really heavy atm. felt it good first hit. second hit i was probablly good. always take 3 hits spaced out a couple minutes each to test quality, third hit set it in, feel great. excellent imo, especially being the absolute lowest quality nug on the plant. Buds converted to a strong grape juice odor about the last week or two of flower, smells the same after first stage of drying. Tastes like hash on exhale with grape aftertaste that sticks around in my mouth. Hasent been cured just chopped and hung it on the 9th, I'll be manicuring and beginning curing soon as im done on the pc. Oh and trichome content is wicked. I'm glad to have 2 more seeds and 4 clones, 2 about ready for flower, for my next round.

oh dude that sounds like very good news, i made honey oil from a few grams of my jet47 that was prity bomb so am gonna make some more with this strain for sure i think it would be killer, i dont know weather to buy more of them same seeds again or try the legends kush special w.o.s also have to buy. if this really is that good i think ill just keep growing it

Tried twice today and both times, within 5-10 min really didnt want to move, wished i coulda just went into dreamland but had stuff to do. Getting up seemed to break the couchlock and left me in a nice medicated state. Gonna try this strain in the morning while i'm fresh, best way to judge it in my opinion. After a few days curing i'll try a good mature nugget, can't wait.

medinug i like how you roll! wake 'n' bake is the best part of my day and i cant wait for this to be on my menu, this is also my first photo strain as ive only ever grown auto's before now, BTW what was your yield like and were your buds dense? what watt are you running? id love to see a pic of a finished bud if its not too much trouble mate, great smoke report you've got me in a very good mood

Gettin ready to trimNew male growth i noticed just starting on the tips of a few budsjust checking trichomescouple pics outta the lightWoulda vegged longer (5 weeks from sprout to 12/12 this grow) if ida known flowering would end the way it did and I had seperate flower/veg rooms. I also have a 4.5 month vegged Pineapple Express (reason the Afghan x Black Domina started 12/12 so soon) and a clone of hers, started flowering same time, way more yield and way bigger colas from older one and even maturing faster than the clone of hers Lights, 2700k CFL's for flowering not all in the picture but gives a good look. All homemade hoods, can adjust every angle of them to keep bulbs at optimal distance from the growth, added 2 drop down lights down the sides a week or 2 later. 18 bulbs @ 1,600 lumens, and 4 @ 3,865 lumens. 44,260 lumens total, from 658 watts total. About 4 x 4 foot area good air movement. Basically I was broke when i got my medical card card and didnt want to wait to save the money to start a crop.

dude thats a sweet setup you got there very nice for cfl's i really cant believe the trichomes on them they look great, plus rep to you for the info, i wish it was legal to get a medical card here if it was i would be running 1000w hps for sure but until then ill just have to hide my babys in the wardrobe with only a 250w hps to keep them happy, keep up the good work mate and thanks for the help/info

A few of the last nugs i trimmed today got a bit to dry but will still cure up nice. 27 grams total harvest, by far the lowest yielder of my 6 plants in flower but very good quality. I had gotten a Sweet Deep Grapefruit freebie seed along with the Black Afghan, sprout to 12/12 every thing the same and it dwarfed the BA from seedling to harvest. Yield from the SDG will be at least double, harvested and dried 17 grams so far and couldn't hardly tell anything was missing from the plant when i took it off.

Also, your welcome kang, always glad to help someone out. Your grow may turn out different depends on so many variables. Another thing, to get them trichomes poppin you really gotta watch your temps, 73-76 degrees f is a great max temp for trichomes i've found. I freak out and start pumpin in the cool air at 79 degrees f. I only grew 1 of 3 seeds but may be pretty solid phenotype if yours looks the same. Good luck and enjoy.

cheers mate them buds look really good i want them in and around my mouth! i never really had any problems with temps the 250 hps isent much hotter than my 250cfl so a good fan blowing between the blub and plant seems to do the trick, i just put my girls into bigger final pots and gave them a nice drink of water, in a few days am gonna top them for 2 colas veg for another 2 weeks after topping then stick them on 12/12, i cant wait!

All aboard my friend and dont forget to vote for pedro! i went ahead and put my plants in bigger pots and within a few hours i can allready see an improvement in growth, as soon as they get a little bigger ill top them, what kind of setup are you running nikeus?

the ak x bd is in my "test area" lol i just run em to 12-14" under a 125w cfl, then change to a 400w cmh until that size with some lst, then flick em into flower under a 400w hps, if the results are good i'll duplicate another grow under a 600w mh and then flower under a dual spec hps, all in coco atm using canna coco, dm root stim and atazym and then various flower stimulators.
i start off in root it!s then pop em in pots.

very nice i was thinking about a dual spec hps myself, what benefits/differences would there be i wonder compared to me using a 250 mh and switching to 250 hps? would the plants stretch a little more with dual spectrum i wonder

After getting em up to a decent size a cmh or mh i would use for veg, plants seem to love the cmh bulbs with no stretch like a hps.
the dual spec i use in flower seems to me to give good yields and a better quality of bud in my opinion as there is a small output of the blue end of the spectrum, in theory there would be less stretch than a typical hps but I think that it would be a minimal difference if there is any.

thats good i think next time i need new bulbs ill try a dual spec for flowering

Hey medinug i am just starting to give them a little grow nutes can you tell me anything about feeding them like can they handle a good feeding of nutes or are they quite sensitive? cheers mate

just a little update i topped the two girls yesterday and they seem to have responded well to it all the leaves are growing upward so another 2 weeks and switch into flower, merry xmas everyone

another update if anyone's interested, they responded very well to topping and now theres two colas on each plant instead of one, i was gonna give them longer to veg but am running out of weed to smoke so i put them into flower today 250 hps 12/12 so i cant wait to see some bud porn
